My sister and I just had lunch here and it' was delicious! The service was fast and friendly. The menu offered a variety of meals. The price was decent. Such a nice hometown restaurant. Just what I was looking for so I will be back! Thanks Taylor.
So, Im new to Alden, been trying all the food joints & WAK is pretty darn good. Only had a couple things so far but this reuben with fries pictured is pretty excellent! Im just down broadway by bottle return so im pretty sure this is gonna be regular for me lol. Wait staff is super friendly,kind funny n fast and kitchen cooks are very skilled. Looking forward to living in Alden and meeting everyone.love small town life(raised on a farm outside chicago) so im pretty sure im home, and the food is gonna keep me here. Just one thing- pretty please can we fix some of the parking lot, cuz its a deterrent to how often people do business. Thanks ✌️❤️????????????????k
Wow, this place has excellent food! I got the tuna and cheese club sandwich. My lady got pizza logs and spaghetti with meatballs. I absolutely loved it! Generous size portions of food. Very cute inside of the dining room with holiday decorations. I definitely will be coming back very soon!!!
Very good food, my friend had the meatball bomber and I had the burger with swiss on rye. The coffee was good, the staff was very friendly and hospitable, and the fries were the best I've had in a while. All in all I was very pleasantly surprised at how full I felt and how tasty the food was. The burger was missing something, I couldn't quite say what (could be as simple as a dash of salt and pepper), but I would certainly have it again nonetheless.
One of my favorite mom and pop small diners I've ever been to. The food is good and the portions are huge. Definitely won't leave there hungry lol
I’m not sure how this place had 4.9 stars, but even after we ordered we wondered if we should stay. The place was not clean. There were cobwebs and used tissues near our booth. There was a smell of mold and damp. There were no masks on staff. There were loud televisions displaying car racing.
The menu was hard to read because of some font/design choices and left out some common diner expectations like waffles or hot Turkey sandwiches.
Two stars because the edible food came in a timely manner and people were overall pleasant.
Good town with good people, never waited long, NEVER left hungry, and have yet to have anything I didn't like! The girls in the kitchen are awesome, and the service is always great. My favorite place to go.
Came in at 7:20 none of the waitresses even came into the dining room untill 7:31 then we were told they aren't going to take our order because they stopped taking them at 7:30. I have given this place MULTIPLE chances. Every time we come in here there is a problem with either our order or the service. Not giving it another chance.
