You'll either get a super nice driver that arrives on time or the absolute snottiest driver that shows up at the very last minute. And thats if they even come at all. If you call to ask about your ride status they act annoyed that you're asking and will hang up before you get a chance to explain your situation. I use the service to get to work and have been late several times because of these guys. Also some drivers will be on their phones while driving so they aren't paying attention. There are some genuinely good drivers I've ridden with but there are more rude people who work here that outweigh them unfortunately.
First time I used this cab co. Never again. Lady decided to turn a 5min ride into a tour of the town. When asked why "the fare is the same" was her response. Apparently it didn't occur to her that I scheduled a cab in advance bc I need to be in a certain place at a certain time. Nor am I interested in spending any more time with you than necessary. Avoid this company.
I felt very uncomfortable when the dispatch ask when is my appointment time. As if he had any control for any appointments I have. I just want a ride. And I pay out of pocket. So what's his beef.
I put a time call in for 415am waited for 45 minutes still no cab i was late for work!!! Thank God my wife gave me a ride!! When you put a time call in we are doing it for reason work and etc!!!!
Do not rely on this outfit for any kind of work transportation or for appointments, it will cost you. They clearly get greedy and take on more jobs than they can handle, and dont seem capable of scheduling their rides correctly. What this means is that they don't respect customers time, and you won't be making it where you need to in a timely manner. Even worse they will threaten to discontinue service if they make mistakes, leaving you stranded. Yes, you read that right, when THEY mess up they will threaten to leave you stranded. They were openly hostile and insulting when I tried to resolve a relatively simple scheduling issue with them, then informed me they aren't doing business with me any longer. However, they specifically said they would give me my last scheduled ride. I waited three hours and missed two appointments and they NEVER SHOWED UP. Yea, they really showed me for trying to resolve a simple issue.This is not a cab service with any integrity or respect. If you have no schedule, by all means use them. Anyone else should look elsewhere.
All I can say is THANK GOD for this cab company. I take them at minimum twice a day. Sometimes I do have to wait a bit but they are busy. The drivers that I have spoken to tell me they are constant go go go. So many out of town medical appointments. All in all I will always choose this company. They have the most taxis in this city for a reason. Cabs are always clean. Maybe not the drivers all the time but finding workers is hard and not just anybody can drive a vehicle and meet the requirements needed. Back in my day when you called a cab you had to wait for them to beep their horn, I think it’s outstanding service for the dispatcher to always call me when my taxi is getting close to my house or is outside. Very grateful for Yellow Cab.
Called for cab 2 hr in advance !!!called at 445am for a ride at 530am to be to work at 615 and called back 540 am they said she was on the st I was on and still nothing intill bc the dispatcher canceled my ride with out me canceling it !!! The dispatch that works this morning on Nov 20 2023 need to be fired !!!!
The worst cab company EVER!!! An hour n a half wait after getting a procedure at the hospital. The guy starts yelling at me and then tells me to not be rude.
