Got told to pull ahead and wait, TWENTY MIN LATER the manager comes out saying my order went to the wrong car so she re made it… Them proceeds to hand me the coldest bag of “fresh” food I’ve ever had. Waste of time and money and they lied to my face about correcting it.
These guys NEVER feel like turning on their frosty machines or actually bother to serve the customer and provide them with what they ordered. Instead they will take your money and blatantly rip you off for no reason. I've ordered a frosty 4 times and each time I never got what I wanted but they went ahead and took my money only to tell me that they don't feel like making them. Seriously?! Someone needs to get fired. They don't care about the customer at all.
I love coming to this restaurant because of a specific manager that is always very friendly and helpful. I always look for Casey I think is his name? I was in the store yesterday afternoon and witnessed this guy getting verbally harassed by one of the crew. I felt so bad for the guy! It looked like he broke down and walked out. I hope that employee that was harassing him won’t be working there when I come back. I will not return to this restaurant if I see that kid again. Uncalled for! Otherwise the restaurant is one of the best Wendy’s I’ve been to.
03/24/24 5:45 p.m. drive-thru male voice said they were out of almost everything, but I could try and order if I wanted. Took a chance and ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. Both cold!
Horrible service! Got yelled out by the employee working the drive through as soon as we pulled up. We were not able to get a word in before he slammed the drive through window on us. When we finally got our order, they didn't add any beef patties to my double stack burger, we were missing a medium French fry, the fries we did receive were cold and not good, there was no blue cheese on the apple-pecan salad and the apples were rotten and they were out of chocolate frosties. The guy working handed us a vanilla frosty and said to contact Doordarsh if I wanted a refund without letting us speak before he slammed the door on us again. When I went to request a refund, the site I ordered from just said to 'contact us' at the local 217 number of the store. Ridiculous!! There was no way to get a refund but to call the store and deal with the very rude and angry man.
Please save yourself the time, money and energy, do not frequent the Wendy's on Lindbergh in Springfield, IL.
Absolutely pathetic service. Twice in the drive thru I was told to go ahead and order and then cut off as soon as I started to talk, with the person saying "ok just a minute, just a minute". The 2 cars ahead of me seemed to be able to order, and my order was for only 1 person and shouldn't have been difficult to comprehend. Avoid this place.
We visited on New Years Day which was a mistake on our part. But we had been traveling for 4 1/2 hours & had another hour to go. We waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes before we got to order. When we ordered our 2 Baconator sandwiches on Pretzel Buns we were told they were out of Pretzel buns. ❓❓❓ We were disappointed but said we would have the Baconators on regular buns. We also ordered a $5 Biggie Bag... After paying we waited a long time & someone asked if we were still waiting on our food. So, we repeated our order. A minute later they handed us our food. We left so others behind us were Not delayed getting their food. SURPRISE: we had most of our Biggie Bag but only 2 sandwiches, not 3 AND NO BACONATOR????
We will Not return to this Wendy's location‼️
Ordered a spicy chicken combo....dry ssa bun dry ssa chicken no mayo no tomato n the fries were a few hours old...$12 thrown in the trash ????️
