My husband and I went through the drive through and both of us got chicken sandwiches (his was spicy). About halfway through my husbands sandwich, it went from seemingly cooked to entirely raw and pink. I immediately called the restaurant and they told us to bring in the chicken. We went back to the restaurant about 90 minutes later (we were at a family members house and couldn’t leave immediately). We took the raw chicken with us so the staff could see. We were worried about them serving raw meat to other customers as well. They did not apologize once, and they said they couldn’t give us a refund because we didn’t bring back the “whole” sandwich. Then they tried to imply that this wasn’t their chicken, and we were lying, even though the staff remembered us coming through the drive through. They even brought out an uncooked spicy chicken sandwich to compare to the one we had, and tried to say they didn’t match. I posted two pictures with this, the first one is the raw chicken we were served. The second picture is the comparison between the frozen uncooked chicken and ours. The frozen chicken still had frost on it, and they said the chicken we had couldn’t be theirs because it was darker. The manager had to have multiple private conversations with corporate on the phone in between talking to my husband. Eventually they refunded us only the money for his sandwich, but not for our entire order. Again, we were only concerned about the safety risk of serving raw meat to customers, but neither staff nor corporate were apologetic or seemed concerned.
I've done lunch here before no problem but the morning staff was difficult. First, she tried to correct me on what I was ordering (was trying to order from the biggie deals section) and told me the item wasn't in the 2-for-3 biggie bundles section (I am aware which is why I wasn't ordering from that section) and when I tried to explain she insisted that I couldn't order that item. Also gave a biscuit for the Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant (repeated back to me "sandwich" instead of "croissant" and I thought we'd be on the same page since I also gave the number of the menu item but apparently not). Either the speaker needs updated or the staff needs to make a better attempt at listening.
We waited 10 min just to order are food, and they had a sign for the new orange cream Frosty and they told me they didn't have it but yet they had a sign for it bad amortisement, then when we went to the window to pay for are food it took another 10 Min bc the gril was on her phone. Them we finely got are food after I asked for the store manager numer and she wouldn't give it too me and them I asked when she would be in to talk.too and she told me she didn't know. Also are food.was nasty taste like it wad sitting all day!!!! This place need shut down!!!
Everytime we've attempted to go here the lobby is always closed. I'm sure it's due to short staff but it's been like this since covid. They should be able to manage to hire & retain people to open the lobby. I don't know if it's a management issue or what.
Our food was okay. The fries were definitely old & reheated to make warm. The burgers were very good though, a little messy but good. Something needs to happen at this location to get the lobby open & get that food traffic back.
Good food! Need to make the coffee dri k more consistently. Too much frosty mix not enough coffee 100% of the time
Food was good but not worth the price. The fact that they do not use filtered water for their iced tea was a horrible disappointment. Marion's water tastes like bleach in any given time and to have a big old glass of sweetened ice bleach just about ruined my day. I know first world problems, but when you're paying almost 12 bucks for a meal at a fast food place you'd like you'd like to enjoy both the food and drink.
This place always sucks. Only the guy with all the jewelry on, is working the speaker, bagging food, and doing the register. But you can see 5 other workers just standing in the kitchen. $7 for the equivalent of a McChicken is nuts.
Great meal and great service. We had been avoiding Wendy's because of a terrible experience at the 42 street location. We will definitely be returning to this one.
I urge anyone to avoid 42 street Wendy's.
