Great new location, however, the service here is absolutely atrocious. My son and I went in for dinner, and as I was walking to the counter to place my order they barked out "use the kiosk". I had pulled up a deal in the app that I was going to redeem in store. When I was forced to use the kiosk it wouldn't accept my reward, said I already used it. I went to the counter and asked if they would still allow me to use it, "No! We don't honor problems in the app". You would have thought I was trying to steal the dang frosty.
Coke freestyle machine out of almost all drink options and there was no ketchup in the lobby. No way was I going to ask them for any, wouldn't want to put them out again by having to provide a semblance of service.
Sad, gorgeous new building plagued by the traditional Wendy's horrible service.
For starters, all of the lights were out on the exterior so you couldn’t tell that the place was even open until I walked up to the front door, this was around 8:30 pm. The air-conditioning in the lobby was set way too high, probably because they don’t want patrons eating inside. I was only able to order at the kiosk after the order it took about 15 minutes to get two chicken sandwiches, two french fries and a bowl of chili, and a couple drinks. Took the food to go because it was too dang cold to eat inside. When my son and I came home and started eating our meal, we discovered that both of our chicken patties were undercooked and completely raw.
I attempted to reach out to the Wendy’s location, but could not find a phone number anywhere online. I also did not have a receipt in my bag to reference a phone number there.
It’s very unfortunate because we’ve been meaning to go to this location for the first time and it was very convenient near our home.
As far as service goes, forget about it. You will be dealing with a bunch of rude people.
I get this is and most likely new staff. Please do better for our community Wendy’s. You are located on prime real estate.
Thing have change so much the food not the same any more , even the frosty don’t taste like it use to to be , I love the atmosphere better than the food , it was a cool & sunny day and sitting outside was delightful……..
3 visits, 2 disappointments. Lunch time last week - nuggets tasted as if they were a week old. I had to throw them out.
Stopped by for breakfast just now. The dining room was closed, and my vehicle can't drive through. So, I am out of luck, and hungry. One morning last week breakfast was fine. If I can not depend on them to be open and serve edible food, I won't be going back.
This is a brand new location. They need some quality control!
I was so excited when this place first opened up, having another option for lunch in this part of North Port. I have learned I do not care for Wendy's lunch but I do like the breakfast. At this location the service can be slow. Today my breakfast took so long to come out I left before I got it even though I already paid.
When I pulled up, I was happy to see only a single car in line ahead of me. Well I ordered and pulled around and paid. That same car was still waiting for food, ahead of me. After about 6 to 7 minutes I decided it wasn't worth the wait and I left. Who knows how long the car in front of me had been waiting but I was done.
The worst Wendy's I have ever been to in my life. The employees are rude and have attitude. My fries were literally cold and started to shrivel up. As I pulled into the drive-thru two of the employees, a male and female, were outside talking to their friends in a black car. The person taking my order hates her job her attitude reflect her dislike for her job. This Wendy's is not even that busy. This is my second visit to this Wendy's, the first time I went they had just opened and the attitude from the girl (different girl) then was horrible. I thought, well they just opened we'll give it some time. So I just stopped by tonight and again horrible, horrible horrible. I will never Patron this site again. I'm not sure where the managers are during working hours but they're not doing their jobs I can tell you that. The owners need to be informed how their restaurant is being handled.
Originally, it was a matter of the service being horrible. Workers will ignore you to have a conversation amongst them. The last two times my fiance has ordered in the drive through, he pays for what he orders and then comes home to find out everything he ordered isn't right. Last time, he got charged for 4 Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers and not a single one had bacon. This time, he ordered the pretzel baconator and got some other triple stack burger, no pretzel bun, no bacon. Both times, no receipt. Someone needs to intervene. Too nice of a location for them to be screwing up so much.
I guess this is a new model of wendys?
We went it and HAD to order off a kiosk screen, which was no big deal, and believe it was credit card only. There was no one working cash registrar. So we ordered our lunch and waited for it to come, and it came up pretty quick. The order was correct also. So we went outside to eat under a pavilion type area. It was pretty cool
The only knock was 3 employees were all outside near us smoking? Looked to be manager and other employees. Kinda ruins a lunch if you don't smoke
