The staff are very nice and it appears to be managed well. In the past, that was not the case. My food came out the correct temperature and quickly. The owner of this Wendy's needs to step up and give its employees a restaurant to be proud of. It's time to do some cosmetic upgrades (carpet & bathrooms at the very least). The multi-selection Coke machine is always out of a lot of selections. There's never any ketchup in the dispenser. The bathrooms are just odd and small. If more than two people are in there, plan to stand in the middle of the tiny room waiting for one to finish. All that aside, I stop frequently when in the area. There is plenty of parking in the big lot for towed vehicles. Again, the staff now make this a much better experience and I hope they are being recognized for it!
I went through the drive through. Order taker was nice & attentive. Food handler was pleasant & smiling. Cheeseburger was good, fries were a touch brown, over cooked for my liking. Overall I would go there again. They appeared to be coming out of a lunch rush.
I just spent the last 10 minutes sitting in the drive-thru , what sounded like a little kid said, would I be using the mobile app? I said no, so they said ok wait a minute. I waited for 5 plus minutes, said hello... are you ready yet? They said no not yet, I waited 5 more minutes then finally left. No less than 5 employees inside and me the only customer in the drive-thru and i didnt see customers inside. "Cash only" sign taped up as well and that's the 2nd time I've seen that, it was about 9:55pm on Saturday night so still a couple hours before posted closing time when we pulled up. Would love to hear from management to see why cash is necessary so frequently at this location and why the one and only customer there can't get served.
This Wendy's has really turned around and it's very noticeable. The staff is completely different and no more drama going on at the window when you pull up. Just 1 question though, how does Wendy's seem to run out chili so often? That signature chili is awesome and when its all out, it's so disappointing ????. Good group of staff there now. I wish you all great success.
Our administrator treated our residents to Wendy's in Appomattox. The staff took time and made each meal perfect. They were friendly, courteous, and helpful with no complaints. The manager Ms. Beverly made sure meals were still going out with no wait times. Shantel made sure everything was bagged neatly. Thank you to this great weekend crew. The residents enjoyed the dreamsicle frosty the most
Loved visiting this Wendy's! Great service. Clean Dining room. Fresh, hot food. The local Wendy's in the area where I live are AWFUL. This one is 1000x better! AND... as a bonus, they actually check their temperatures on the food like they supposed to, NEVER seen that in our local restaurants (which is why I got fresh food here and rarely ever in Colonial Heights, Va and Stony Creek, Va!) Way to go Management & Staff of the Appomattox Wendy's! Doing it Dave's Way! Wish our local Wendy's would follow Dave's Way of food service!!
Nicely refurbished inside. Food is on par but service can get slow at times and accuracy of orders is not their highest goal.
Worse fast food ever. Was not edible so threw it out car window. Could drink the unsweetened tea though, so only 95% loss. Plenty of young workers paying no mind with manager trying to corral them, I'll not be back.
