Best in the business. I still drive my car from Houston to get taken care of by Uncle Wendell
The level of knowledge that you will find at this automotive repair shop it's hard to compare to anyone else. Their prices or more than reasonable considering the level and quality of work that they do. The cumulative years of knowledge under that roof is extraordinary. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone else with a better quality of work and prices as reasonable as theirs. And if he is not able to perform the work that you need done on your vehicle, he will send you to reputable person who can. We need more minority shops in the area with such a high standard, and moral fortitude.
Lack of customer service skills and people skills. I waited a week to get my car in his shop because he was very busy which I understand. I asked could he refer me to another mechanic and he said that he would do the work. I came on the day he told me to come and he turned me away and said he wouldn't be able to get to it and to bring it the next day. I show up the next day and we discussed what needs to be fixed and exchanged contact information. Three hours later he texts me saying the car is ready. I get there and I check the a/c. The problem was not fixed. I show him what's wrong and a few minutes later he yell’s"I don't know what's wrong with it I can't fix it" and walked away from me. I got in my car and drove away. I felt so disrespected and mistreated. I really feel that if I were a man he wouldn't have treated me this way. He would have handled business differently if I were a man.
Wendell and Fontenot are amazing! They do high quality work for a decent price! I would recommend this place to anyone needing quality car repairs!!!
Went there to check why my brakes weren't working and ended up with a vehicle that no longer blows air at all
