I’ve had quite few work done at this practice. All staff are very friendly and understanding. I’ve given birth not too long ago and I had few complications that were causing me a lot of pain. It is a struggle to get an NHS appointments in London, especially if you just moved here and don’t have dentist yet. On top trying to book for free service as entitled after giving birth.
Finally, found the place and I couldn’t complain. They have given me comfort and reassurance from day one and done amazing job.
Thank you
I recently had a really disappointing experience with them. Not only did they have a mix-up during my dental appointment, but they also did a bad job on my teeth. The lack of attention to detail and quality left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend going there if you're looking for reliable dental care.
I also found the practice to be dirty and unattractive. The lack of cleanliness and aesthetic care left me feeling even more dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend going there if you're looking for a clean environment.
Just wanted to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. Take care!
Had the worst experience at this dentist. I made an emergency appointment because I had awful tooth pain and suspected that I needed a root canal. It was my first time going to this dentist and I did not expect it to be in some back alley. The dentist had to do my dental x rays 3 or 4 times just to get an acceptable one, I am actually a radiographer myself so I was shocked that it took this many attempts and there was also no radiation safety they left the door wide open and stood at the doorway when taking the x rays. The dentist then couldn’t read the images and was telling me there was a fracture in my tooth which there definitely was not and I could tell by looking at my images myself there was not (after this I went to a different dentist for treatment and can confirm there was no fracture). The dentist then proceeded to hit my tooth with her metallic tool whilst she knows I am in pain and I’m visibly recoiling from the pain. I had to ask for her to stop as it’s obvious that my pain is from that specific tooth. They then said I’d need a root canal and would have to wait 3 weeks for this which is I do not think I could have done this would have lead to an abscess and further problems for me. They prescribed antibiotics and couldn’t even put my information in correctly causing issues with the pharmacy for me. I had issues with payment as I was charged 3 times. When I told them on the day of my appointment they said the person dealing with this is in on another day and they will let her know she had called me a few days later to confirm she refunded the payments but she only refunded one payment. I then had to chase them up multiple times to try to get a refund for the second incorrect payment and when calling staff were rude and abrasive. They hung up on me and I had to call many times to sort it out. Will never set foot in this place again and would not recommend this place to anyone.
I've read most of the reviews before I went to this dentist practice and I was really sceptic about it regarding that there are lots of negative reviews but after being there I've realize that is not as they say. The people there are nice, I never had an issue with them nor I was talked rude, if you're polite they are polite, if you respect them they respect you and that's a universal way to do things! What goes around comes around, right? My work at the dentist was thru NHS so I had the pleasure and honour to meet Dr. Francesca, a young and beautiful woman, very bright minded which was very polite and nonetheless she explained all the work procedure in a manner which was very straight forward and understandable! I had 3 tooth fillings done! Two of them done in the same day and the third was a few weeks after! I must say that Dr. Francesca is an NHS dentist here at Wembley High Street Dental Practice that works very good, works gentle and takes her time to do a good job, plus I had a free hygiene cleaning which I appreciate! So all in one, this Dental Practice is good, I don't know why the bad reviews but anyway! Thank you Dr. Francesca for all the help you provided me and thank you to the staff and the practice! Thank you all!
P.S. First time I went there the chairs in the waiting room weren't that good but the second time I went there, they ware all change with new ones which I liked that! Good job!
Gauri is such an excellent dentist. I felt incredibly safe in her hands and she was so ‘patient friendly’ putting my needs first. I had a root canal done and was terrified but I needn’t have been. Thank you! The rest of the staff are also very friendly.
I went for a general checkup and was shocked at the state of the practice only 3 chairs to sit on in the waiting area one was broken the other two were filthy with brown stains on them
The whole place is not looked after at all wanted to leave
The consultation with the dentist was for the first band of treatment which according to the NHS guidelines should include a descale and polish
The Dentist examined my teeth took a X Ray and told me all is good I have scale on my teeth for this she wanted me to book another appointment for a descale and Polish which would cost me £80 more.
This should have been included in the NHS first band of treatment
Never going there again
Worst experience and definetly money sucking people . They took 1 whole year to treat my child's cavities .On first appointment they couldn't make my child sit ,which is normal , then I followed up second appointment (remember these appointment s are atleast 1-2 months in gap) .Then they cleaned one teeth on one day ,again booked follow up appointment , which I rebooked on another day ,since I didn't receive any msg confirming the change ,so I visited the original day ,they made me sit 20 minutes and then said you dont have appointment today ,which was fine i was supposed to leave but then the lady doctor i believe she is gujrati started literally shouting on me which was very rude .Still I came up on rebooked appointment date ,they just filled up two teeth which was good ..but then they rebooted after 3-4 months later saying you cannot book appointment in between and reffered me to government hospital (which I didn't understand why) I had to wait 6 months for the government hospital to call but in vain no body called or sent any letter .Again I called them up booked appointment and took my child ,but their behaviour was literally disgusting like we are taking free treatments if we instead pay they will treat us nicely .Still this clinic is close to where I stay so I rebooked next appointment which I couldn't visit because my child started to vomit 30 minutes before the visit .so eventually I couldn't take appointment for next 1 month. I rebooked again and this time this lady hanged up the phone,I called again and she literally didn't pick up 3-4 times ,I recognised her voice and who she is .But this is terribly unacceptable , you are working as an NHS dentist and you are handling patients loosely in this way ,I really had to make a complaint .Then they started sending automatic messages that I need to book appointment ,I never visited again.Instead somebody referred me to Wembley Hill Road dental clinic ,I went there, and on first visit they cleaned and filled up rest of the 3 teeths of my child ,with no hassle and such good behaviour and asked me to visit in any emergencies and rebooked themselves another appointment .Trust me I felt very relieved that my son is better. But I cannot explain so much painful hassle this clinic had made me go through.Simply money sucking people and very very rude behaviour .I will never refer this clinic to anybody.
Very nice member of staff called today to put things right. she made me feel welcoming and comforting. I am now able to see those amazing Dentists again. Good lucks
