Parking lot is bit of challenge but plenty of spots
I ordered a California burger with Onion Rings on 16Nov2023. Not sure if the chef hates me, or what.
When I opened my ordered, I notice there was no top bun included with my burger. When I went to try an onion ring, it was so salty I had to wipe off the salt with my napkin, even then, it was still too salty. So today, I realized that this person who cooked my food obviously didn’t give two ***** about it.
I would advise anyone who wants to try this place out not to, it’s all in the details, and I would rather take my money to a small business who actually cares about their customers. Not serve your burger without a bun, and coat your onion rings in salt. Shame on the chef, you shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the kitchen.
The staff was nice and the food was served hot. The dressings were made in house and she had the fish fry. Mostly breading and very thin. I had a burger with homemade jelly, provolone, and bacon. Was disappointed by the lack of flavor of the burger itself.
All in all the atmosphere was warm and inviting but “rustic “. Prices were reasonable but I’m not sure it’s a place I’ll frequent to often.
We walked in and sat at a tall table. Our server suggested we would be more comfortable in a booth on the other side at the back of the bar. She was right, the atmosphere was relaxed and she was very pleasant. We ordered drinks from the bar and the person tending didn’t know how to make brandy old fashioned but they looked up the recipe and did their best. The drinks were much stronger than we expected but enjoyable. We ordered and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the patty melt and wife ordered mushroom and Swiss burger. We substituted onion rings and fries for chips but they were served hot and tasty. Both entrees were cooked just as we liked. Both the food and service were excellent. We definitely will be going back!
Jaime was really sweet sitting me and my best friend down for lunch, this hidden gem has some of the best food including a CHEESE CURD burger, it was AMAZING!!

First time at this place on 05-05-2024 and we wanted to try something different. We will never go back.
The Atmosphere is old, rundown and the Booth Seating was just as bad and uncomfortable to sit.
Our Waitress was great and we enjoyed our conversations with her.
My Wife had a Burger and Onion Rings and I had the French Onion Soup and Cuban Sandwich. The French Onion Soup was good, but they should have pulled out the Bay Leaf, but they didn't. I started eating my Cuban Sandwich and only ate half of it, because I bit into a hard fatty slice of Pork and I ended up cracking my lower left, rear Molar Tooth, when chewing.
Immediately when I realized that I had a cracked Molar, we stopped eating, left the other half of our Meal and Drinks on the Table, paid for our Meal, so I could get to the Emergency Dental Office in Roseville, MN. Our Waitress wanted to talk to her Manager and our Waitress came back with an apology for what happened. I was not expecting anything anyways.
I could not get in tonight, to the Emergence Dental Office, so an appointment is made for Monday morning.
I sit here in slight pain, giving this well justified review. We will never go back to this S@%thole place.
Happy hour and daily specials galore! We saw an advertisement for 1/4 broasted chicken $6.95 mon-fri 4-6 but to our surprise there were many more specials. FREE pizza 3-5, 1/2 price select apps 4-6 and daily specials; today happened to be 1/2 price burgers. Best of all the food was great! Recommend the Pepperoni pizza wheels for an appetizer and broasted chicken fingers. Mashed potatoes were homemade. Family of three ate for $25! Another favorite of mine is popcorn and they have that too. We are excited to go back.
