As with all Kentucky chicken coupes, a ton of room, plentiful parking spots, always clean, always friendly & it's always nice to know when your tired & sleepy, coming up on your 10 hours break Kentucky always welcomes semi trucks to come in & take a break or your 10 hour rest .
This is a good place to find a parking spot here along I24 coming through Kentucky, especially at night where there is no other places you can park along this route. However, what I have discovered getting into a parking spot here at night is it is very challenging. So take it very slow while menuerving here and don,t go down the middle lane. There's not enough room to swing your trl to get into a spot.
I like how Google maps says I got to visit. Let's be clear, I didn't stop in for a visit. Also, in the spirit of fairness the law is the law. I got stopped for failure to wear seatbelt. From that I got a twenty five dollar ticket and a full inspection. I passed the full inspection because we run newer equipment and like most of y'all, our loss are eld so they were good. Now, as I said, the l law is the law and I was not wearing my seatbelt. However bearing that law affects no one but me. Seatbelts for the most part do save lives, there are limited exceptions but for me I just really don't like to wear them. I never have and I don't believe the government should tell you how to live your life. It did irritate me that he chose to hassle me about that yet these new CDL holders do things on a daily basis that endanger other people's lives, not just their own. The guy that gave me the ticket was not rude, he was helpful at times and matter of fact at other times. As it pertained to me, it was early morning, he was bored and wanted someone to pick on. My personal feelings of not wearing a seatbelt was easy picking for him and he took that opportunity.

Arrived at 2:15am on a Saturday: still obviously parking left on way in - probably ¼-⅓ still available. There are 2 rows that you pull through the center of and park on either side. That's when the problems start. It seems that enough people park like crackheads to make most of the lot inaccessible.
All in all lots of room to park made useless by idiots who can't park.
I love the fact that the state of Kentucky provides a "Safe Haven " for truckers in the weigh stations. There truly is an undeniable attitude of hostility towards truckers just wanting to park and go to sleep like everyone else. Even weigh stations in other states strictly forbidding truckers to park. It really is all about safety. Thank you Kentucky.
Desperately need to start doing parking enforcement due to people not want to pull completely up so people do have to back up

We were not happy to be selected for our first inspection just before daybreak, but Officer Litchfield was awesome. Clear and concise with instructions and really nice. If all officers were like her it would never feel like a hassle. Thank you ma'am!
Very rude and disrespectful civilian inspector. Was very demeaning and watched him treat other truck drivers like dirt. Avoid if possible.
