Me and my partner were fancying fish all day so we decided to order a fish from Wee Chippy, mince pie with chips and curry sauce. We are on a getaway so we took them back to our holiday home, I put my fish on the plate and it looked soggy as anything, took 1 bite out of it and there was no taste/flavour. I couldn’t eat anymore. My partner however opened his tray with chips and his mince pie, his chips were greasy, dry with no taste and he found a black hair!!!! His mince pie looked dry so he couldn’t eat any. He rang the chippy and they apologised and told us to go back and get a full refund which we were happy about as you don’t get many places that do that service. We got back to the chippy and he got his full refund so we had to go over to the Chinese.
On my last visit I had chicken wrap nd chips I'm in lurv wi the wraps nd the chips were yummy as always as always the service was brilliant friendly staff answering the phone and quick fresh delivery
I must have gone in on a bad night because the payment system was playing up and my food which was, sausage supper and fritters were nothing but grease, the chips were not very nice at all. Had to throw away unfortunately
Tasty foods n fab service
Fish and chip (and burgers) for take away only. Had one fish (single) for my dinner. Good portion for a fiver. Didn't take any pictures unfortunately. Menu are pretty much the same as photo posted years before, except that prices are increased now understandably.
Cheese burger crunch didn't come in a cob, was hoping for an actual battered cheeseburger, all the food however was absolutely delicious. Haggis nuggets are delicious, chips were lovely and fresh lovely male owner and another male working there. The lady was in quite a mood though, not very pleasant that day.
Shame you don't do battered mars bars. Top notch though thank you so much.
Wow! Food was amazing, so fresh and clean, not greasy. Menu offers a great selection and we wished we'd been in the area for more than 1 night so we could've tried more!
We had chicken nuggets, haggis nuggets and chicken burger each with chips (chips are amazing ????, proper chips not frozen ones or fries!) Great portions and value for money.
Will find an excuse to go back! ????
We took a last minute trip to the area from loch lomond, as we walked in they were closing, but they still managed to give us 3 bags of chips and 6 rolls , we were sooooo grateful as we were Starving. Lovely chips lovely staff. Thank you.
