I arrived at Sun Outdoors Frontier Town, Berlin, MD, on May 10, 2024. This was our first camping trip of the year. When I arrived, we started setting up and hooking up hoses. I hooked the water supply up and turned the water on. Right away, I saw water pouring out of the onboard water filter. The housing that holds the water filter was cracked and broken. I also had a slide-out that needed to be fixed. I called three different mobile RV repair services. I only received a call back from WE RV. I explained my situation and was told a technician would be on their way.
I could not have been happier with the service I received from WE RV. Ernie arrived promptly and was very pleasant to work with. He is very knowledgeable and explained every step of the repairs he was making.
Once Ernie completed the water filter repair, I turned the water supply on. We then started to see multiple leaks. At that point, Ernie asked if I had the motorhome winterized. I informed him that I had winterized it at an RV dealer close to my home in New Jersey, but upon closer inspection, Ernie concluded that the RV dealer that winterized the motorhome put no antifreeze in the line, and my pipes had frozen.
I have already setup an appointment to take my motorhome into WE RV to have the water pipe issue and water heater fixed.
In conclusion, if you use WE RV mobile service, they are very thorough and excellent to work with. I will be using WE RV for all of my future RV needs.
Took in the motorhome for mechanical issues with engine hard start and loosing power/stalling while driving. Also rear taillights working intermittently. Picked up the motorhome 3 weeks later was told the stalling issue was fixed by replacing the fuel pump. But power module for lights was cause for intermittent light issue and that would understandably have to be taken to a Ford dealer. The power module was fixed and lights works fine, however the "fixed" power/stalling issue came back 20 miles after it left WE-RV. Refuse to go back there, because Earnie treated us like we were idiots for buying a motorhome and not knowing it had issues. Also make sure you ask for a quote before they do the work. We were hit with a $2300 bill for the repairs and investigation into the light issue with no consideration that we might want to know before they pursue. I guess that's my fault though. Per Earnie "I shouldn't have bought a motorhome if I couldn't afford it".
So far this place is amazing. They are very courteous. They will be fixing my camper over the winter. ✝️
Edit: got my camper back. Looks fantastic. They even found some decals I didn't think existed. Definitely would recommend!
I needed some work done over the season at Cherrystone (Sun Outdoors Cape Charles) my trailer. The work included a cleaning, replacement of some seals, and repair of corner. They did an excellent job! The pair of techs were very personable and interactive. They were professional and knowledgeable! The employees I dealt with outside the techs communicated well. They were on time and proved reliable. I definitely will reach them again and would be willing to haul my trailer from Southside VA to them. They get my recommendation and I will pass their name around to other campers. As for their competition, just don't bother calling as they don't want to DO.
I was warned about using this company & I should have listened! i bought a thermostat from them on June 12th,, it turned out that wasn't the problem,, the motherboard on the AC went. So I returned it the same week, I was told I had to wait to have it tested before a refund! I waited & called a couple of times & got the same response! Well finally July 5th I get a phone call telling me the owner is not going to refund my money! That the telephone cable on the thermostat was stripped!!!! Well caught them in that lie because when I went back in to ask "where is the cable?" I was told there is no cable in the package! Of course there isn't,, the cable is connected to the AC in the RV,, so I was lied to right out! So now I'm out $180,, I'm forced to buy something I don't need! Like I said,, I was warned about them,, they are only getting 1 star in order to post this!
I haven't used the business before, but a company truck almost hit my car twice by driving too fast at the Goose Creek gas station. I don't know if they were upset because not many spots were open and I was filling up my car, but my 2 year old son was in the car. Your employees need to drive in a safe manner no matter what. I won't be using this business based off this experience.
First I want to say there mobile service fee was $400! We ended up with a $750 bill for a toilet valve and electrical receptor on the outside of the camper. 1 hour job maybe after waiting 2 hours for him to arrive. Totally outrageous! We will never ever call them again or recommend them. I do wanna say Dave fixed the issue however in my opinion they purposefully did not tell us till the end of the job about the $400 service fee. No estimate was ever discussed, I’ve tried to call no answer and they refuse to explain there charges.
Installed new House refrigerator with Ice Maker, prompt, and so far no problems. One of the better RV repair shops I’ve dealt with.
