There are a couple of really excellent driver's; however, the company and the dispatch employees leave a lot to be desired. We care hasn't cared enough to pick us up for scheduled rides on some days and then will be 4 hours past scheduled pick up time and have no clue why I'm upset about that. I teach my kids at home this year, so I need to be home and I schedule my appointments accordingly, why can't they respect that,?
My husband and I had a ride with Olivia, and she was a great driver - alert, aware, careful and an excellent personality. We arrived at our appointment in plenty of time and when we called for the return trip she was there quickly. We're happy with We Care for this great experience.
[edit] It's a little while later, about a year or so after our positive experience with Olivia, and we just arrived back home after being dropped off by Nathan. We were picked up for our appointment by Gene, and both drivers are friendly, courteous, and above all, safe. I'm generally uptight in the passenger seat, and these guys put me at ease. The icing on the cake was we finished our appointment an hour and a half early, and so we called We Care to see if we could have an early pickup. The dispatcher was kind and professional, and told us we would have to wait 20 minutes - just 20 minutes! This is a great transportation company. I recommend them.
Awful company!! I would rate it 0 stars if I could! Driver was rude and was paying attention to his phone more than his driving. He ran a red light and then missed a green arrow to go left because he was on the phone!! On another day, dispatch dismissed a driver 5 minutes after waiting for me to come out. They're supposed to wait at least 10 minutes. Tried to call driver to let her know I was coming out and she wouldn't answer!! That is not right!! I hope this company gets shut down!!!! Yeah right, "We Care"". We DON'T Care is more like it!!
“We care” is false advertisement. The company DOES NOT CARE. I have been left at the drs office for 5-6hrs AFTER my appt waiting for a ride home, I have missed appts because they either showed up late or decided to show up at the time of my appt to pick me up, and over all just a terrible company. If I could, I would give them NO stars. 0 ⭐️. The employed drivers are nice, but the company sucks. I’m sticking with Adaptive transportation. Always early to my appts, on time pick ups, rarely do I have to wait for my ride home with them and when I do have to wait, it’s not very long.
Yesterday I used these folks for the second time and this time they did a much better job. They weren't very prompt in picking me up at home but they called me twice to let me know what was going on. I was finished at my doctor's office very early, 2 hours before the pickup time I'd reserved, and when I called to see if they could pick me up sooner, the very friendly woman I spoke to immediately sent out a driver to pick me up, who arrived within about 20 minutes. So I've had one bad experience (see below) and one good experience, so I'm raising my overall rating to three stars.

Do not use this company! They were 45 minutes late picking me up at the doctor's office and did not even call to let me know they were late. After reading the reviews, I see that I was very lucky - apparently they're frequently 1 to 2 hours or more late. I'm going to call the insurance company and insist that they never give me this company again.
I go thru my safe ride services and they have a contract with we care. I have " no shows" or " you do have a 20 minute window for your appointment don't you?" To waiting for 2 hours for a pick for a ride home. I really don't appreciate the way we care operates. We are their clients. If it wasn't for us they wouldn't have jobs. Is it to much to ask for common courtesy and be on time for pick ups or call when you are going to be late? I have missed so many appointments and had to reschedule because of the fact that driver was late or no show.
I am an elderly widow who no longer can drive myself to medical appointments. My dentist is in Penasco, NM. 30 miles over the mountain from taos. I’ve been very fortunate until “WE CARE”. The first driver who dropped me off was fine. But a different driver was to pick me up at 5:30, closing time. Well they closed up and I was left in the parking lot. It was cold and getting dark. There was one car left in the parking lot. They would take me home. I kept phoning the 800 # the dispatcher was no help. So I accepted a ride, there were no other options. In this case I was safer with total strangers than with this company.
I've been here after my appt. for 5.5 hours. Called logistics twice after not getting through to my driver. The dispatcher had the nerve to lie to logistics that they sent 2 drivers out and that each driver waited over 30 mins. for me. LIE!! The first driver called when he arrived but I couldn't leave yet so I suggested he pick his next client up then called when I was ready and he was going to turn around but I didn't want his next client to be late, the second driver never showed up and now logistics is yelling at me and I'm so mad and sad that I've been made to look like a non-compliant customer. I'm hearing the owner is weeding out the bad drivers so maybe I'll be able to give more stars on my next review.
