Best KPortal Reviews

Photos, video, and a detailed caption will not be enough for me to explain how AMAZING this restaurant was! So far, my favorite restaurant that I’ve ever visited outside of Texas.
The amount of food I ordered was enough to feed 4-5 people, and I ate 98% of it (Took the 2% with me back to my hotel room).
And let’s not forget about the ambiance at Wayward Vegan Cafe - it’s cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed breakfast date or brunch with friends.
So if you’re ever in this part of town and looking for an unforgettable vegan breakfast experience, make sure to pay a visit to Wayward Vegan Cafe. Trust me; your taste buds will thank you!

I absolutely love Wayward! In my opinion, Wayward is one of the best vegan restaurants in Seattle! My wife and I are both vegetarian and really enjoy the restaurant.
The atmosphere is very casual and laid back. The staff is really nice and friendly and they provide good service.
The food is really good. I had a waffle and the Albuquerque crunch wrap. They were both cooked to perfection, fresh, and delicious. They had an amazing taste and didn’t even taste vegan. They also gave some alcoholic beverages available as well.
I highly recommend wayward if you are vegetarian or vegan or just looking to try plant based food. They are absolutely delicious and worth the visit! We are repeat customers for a reason!
I got the veggie omelet with chimichurri and mushroom gravy on the side as well as a strawberry lemonade.
The staff was super friendly and the food arrived in a decent time. It was very fresh, generously portioned, and so delicious. I'm not vegan, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything in this meal. It was incredible.
If there were restaurants like this closer to where I live, it would be so much easier to go vegan.
I loved every bit of it and will come here before pretty much anywhere else whenever I'm in Seattle.
Poised boastfully on the corner, this vegan restaurant has established a new benchmark in the culinary art! The food was impeccable, literally every bite. I wish I could try every option on the menu. Vegan or not, highly recommend! The atmosphere is top tier, very open and bright!
I flew into Seattle and was excited to try this vegan restaurant I had heard so much about, and wanted to get some nutritious food for me and my dad after a long flight. I want vegan restaurants to succeed, so I hate to write this review, but I expect vegan restaurants to hold themselves to the same high standards as anywhere else where you’d pay $19 for a breakfast dish. My experience was extremely disappointing because my dad’s sunrise omelet had a completely inedible rotten avocado on it. How did someone cut that avocado open and not see a problem, then continued to slice it, assemble it, and serve it? If they’re serving this food they’d clearly never eat themselves, it makes me wonder else is going on in the kitchen that may be unacceptable.
Edit: I apologize that my review triggered defensiveness from the owner. That was not my intent. However, it is silly to think that other vegans aren’t familiar with what a rotten avocado’s black striations look like vs a warm avocado that has sat out and turned brown. Funny thing is, we ate this food in the parking lot immediately after picking it up. It could have sat out for a maximum of 20 minutes while we were on the way to pick it up. Let’s hold each other to high standards and be accountable when they’re not met.
I'm a carnivore, but the food here are so well cooked and presented. I ordered the Chiggen Caesar salad and it was delicious, the soy based chicken were well fried and tasty.
I definitely felt healthier after eating here.
Ordered the Mexican burrito. They asked if we were sharing and we told them we were. They were kind to already bring it split in two plates. Service is excellent, very quick, attentive and humble. So glad there’s a whole menu of vegan to choose from, so that one can just focus on what they feel like eating.
Travelled from Vancouver (Canada) for a weekend brunch, and it didn't disappoint! Portions were large and the food was tasty. Among our group, we had the Migas, Very Veggie Omelet, Hillbilly Omelet and Mushroom Omelet. Their home fries are essentially hash browns, which had a slight crisp. The omelets were well-filled with ingredients. The food was excellent, and would highly recommend the food. It's hard to find good vegan food for brunch!
We all ordered coffee, and our server asked if we wanted "cream." 3 of us asked for cream, and 1 asked for oat milk. The coffee came out with 4 small oat milk containers. We didn't question it as we didn't want it to be a hassle, but on the service side, we thought the server could have advised us that their "cream" was actually oat milk. We typically wouldn't associate the 2 as being the same, and while the restaurant is 100% vegan, we were surprised that they didn't have any other milk/cream alternatives.
We also found the menu to be a bit misleading as typically coffee prices include the standard milk/cream and sugar (along with the actual coffee). At this place, you're only paying for black coffee in the $3.50 cost, although refills of said black coffee are included. Any additions whatsoever will cost an additional $1.
