Wawa will always hold a special place in my heart. It always has the most amazing selection and I never leave disappointed. I especially love the sandwich shop where I can order my perfect meal on a touch screen. I also love the Coca Cola fountain, infinite possibilities. The bathrooms weren’t clean but otherwise very impressed.
This store is disgusting on many different levels! First, Most of the staff is just mean, miserable And don’t take pride in their work! Everyone has nasty attitudes, Quick to tell you what they won’t do, don’t care about the quality of the food they’re making & your food is either overcooked, undercooked and thrown Together.
However, I love when I come and I see Jabraya working bc she’s always smiling, upbeat and willing to help. And the guy with the twists in his hair always makes the food properly with the pleasant Disposition. Once, another employee was giving me a hard time because I wanted lettuce on my chicken wrap and she said I had to pay extra and made a big scene about it and he just came over to the register from behind the counter and corrected the situation because they couldn’t figure out how to charge Lettuce- the same thing happened when I asked for whipped cream for my hot chocolate. The lady Toni refused, even though I offered to pay extra bc who wants hot chocolate without whipped cream and marshmallows in the winter?!
I could write a novel about how disgusting this Brand new store is! The bathrooms are atrocious to put it mildly, The coffee island is sticky, dirty With spilled cream & sugar everywhere, The trash is overflowing, and the drink machines are so filthy sludge oozes from the dispensers from not being cleaned properly probably ever! The Cappuccino machine literally has a bacteria colony and other microorganisms growing on it- I took a picture because they’re going to make someone sick if they haven’t already.
The health department should be called.

Wawa is legendary for convenience stores. Excellent sandwiches, hot dogs, hot Dinner items etc. This store is well maintained and the staff is friendly!
However today (Sept 26 at 10:35 AM) I got an attitude from Latrisha…….I entered the building and got in what I thought was the line, however I saw people waiting on the left side so let the (sole) person who was in line go ahead of me. It was a door dash employee. I then waited for the register on the left to open up and requested my food order. She completely ignored me as if I was cutting the line which I was NOT!
Ignorant not customer centered employee- not ok.
I hate to expose but I'm so tired of repeating myself. Smh. This bathroom been dirty for more than 24 hours. I'm sick of this place. They do not get better. Lazy staff disgusting.

Update: 2/22/24
I met the manager Toni today who was less concerned about the STILL dirty countertops and machine with sludge and more concerned with not giving me whipped cream for my cappuccino bc “every squirt was accounted for”- I kid you not.
The first photo was taken months ago. The rest show no progress in this pigsty. Do yourself a favor a go a few minutes down the road to the Wawa on 291 essington. Those women are PLEASANT and know how to keep a clean house. They won’t let a granule of sugar drop before they’re wiping the counters and when the store is slow, they’re wiping down the machines SO BACTERIA ISNT BREEDING IN THE FILTH. The health dept should be called to this location.
I ordered loaded cheese fries and a buffalo chicken sandwich. What I got was just cheese fries and a chicken sandwich. They need to read the screen before making things.
Go in to pay for gas $20 in cash. The gas pump only pump to .38. Eric says he would get someone. I go back outside and waited a few minutes and no one comes. I come back inside ERIC says we only have 4 people here. In the middle of us going back in forth about me getting my money back he tells me to get out… I did my part by paying for my gas I just needed the gas pump to work and some sense of customer service. I will never stop here again.
Place looks filthy. Parking lot , especially outside of the entrance is always dirty with food stain and food remaining. Bathrooms are disgusting with feces all over the floor. Overall cleanliness is questionable. I wouldn’t want to eat anything that comes out of this Wawa location.
