I usually LOVE the WaWa food, but this location is not one I’d recommend.
This is what my spicy chicken sandwich looked like. Pure seasoning when I didn’t even order a chicken sandwich with seasonings on it under the toppings category. It literally looks like the cap fell off the Old Bay and they dumped the entire thing on top of it.
If I wasn’t 8 months pregnant I’d drive back right now and make them replace it but I picked it up after work, got all the way home and was left with this. Umm are they kidding me?
Customer service is atrocious at this Wawa. They will refuse to exchange an item if you walk out the door for one minute. Heather, the so called manager, has zero customer service skills. She should find new employment.
I am not a newbie to Wawa as I am a transplant from NJ. I am also not a newbie to this particular store because I shop there often. I am here today to tell everyone of the wonderful and patient service that was afforded me by Phil, one of the managers of that store and/or Food service area.
I was having a party and needed 6 pizzas for the event. After a lot of frustration on my part with the Wawa phone app, Phil was kind enough to walk me through ordering pizzas for my party on the order board in the store. Phil also followed through on getting me exactly what I needed for a successful party.
My hat's off to the staff in the food area for assisting me with my order being completed in a timely manner and helping get my food to the car safely (it was too much for me to carry).
I also wish to applaud the pleasant manner in which even the cashiers work through their day. It is a pleasure to shop at Wawa for convenient store items and especially, again, their freshly prepared foods, coffees and specialty drinks.
If you have the opportunity to have the Wawa pizza please do so, it was hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered different ones, vegetarian, pepperoni, sausage w/pepper and onions, and the ultimate supreme. They are all good and my party was a success.

PS: The only drawback to the pizzas is that they cannot be ordered before 4 PM. I think they should have a lunch menu pizza option also.
Typically Wawa is great but like everything else, depends on location. The Daytona store is not the cream of the crop. It hit or miss. Make sure to check your food order. Most the time you may get something you did not order or want. A ham panini with salsa and extra pickles is definitely not a chicken cheese quesadilla.
The best beef brisket I’ve ever had! The aoli sauce was so good. My husband really enjoyed the club sandwich too…. The staff was very friendly and helpful… Very clean. I just wish they had a few tables inside to eat. It was a little chilly eating outside.
I went into the place to get tea. First thing they didn’t have lemon tea that’s acceptable understandable OK get another thing of tea they have no hot water then I was offered a free coffee because they had no hot water to make my tea so I go to make the coffee they don’t have the hazelnut creamer or the regular vanilla Creamer and at that point I had just had enough. They were out of everything that I wanted to drink and it’s always like that when I go there.
visited today for some fruits while in town. place needs a good cleaning and restrooms need a major clean up.

Service. High quality fast food. Excellent cafe with several different type of creams and milk. Inside and outside very cleaned. Amazing Gas station!!
