Wawa‘s on Portsmouth Boulevard need to do better with their customer service… someone should get outside and clean up the parking lot and refill the receipts at the gas pumps????.
This is my Wawa!! I love this store, I love the associates.. very friendly. My favorite drink is their iced coffee and if the machine is empty one of the assistants will immediately go and fill it for me.
I love wawa, and it is my favorite place to go, for gas and food (I get breakfast and/or lunch from WAwa, most days). I always get gas from this location, on Victory Blvd, as it's close to home. I'm also glad to see they finally upgraded their store, and added improvements. The food is always good, and the setvice is usually friendly. However, my only complaint with Wawa stores in this area, is that I don't always feel safe at them. The store on victory boulevard, has panhandlers and homeless people loitering by the gas pumps and by the storefront, always hitting people up for money. It's gotten to the point where I try to avoid going to the Victory Blvd. store, as I'm always harassed at the gas pump, or whenever I try to go in / out of the store. There are clearly signs that say no loitering, and no panhandling, yet that's all that's up there. The kempsville store has a similar issue, but nowhere near as bad as this one. I even had to tell the manager there that it's gotten to the point I stopped going to the store on Victory, as I don't feel safe, and I'm tired of always being harassed for money, every single time I go.
After the renovation, the store seems smaller. It's a bit of a cluster. They still lack the service of certain items on their food and drink menu. Milkshakes, to be specific.
A couple things this morning:
The staff was very friendly and pandemic responsible. Mask use and social distancing was on point.
I LOVE THESE LID DISPENSERS. It's nice not to see the the mess and waste.
I'm trying my first shortie. I went with the Spicy Italian (not toasted) and it was good
Lastly, Wawa had the good ice, and it's a nice change of pace to get it with root beer.
Service was great, food too. The only thing is that truck drivers leave trailers and leave. They think they own the parking. They asked me to move cause I didn't have a trailer. NO NO NO
PAY A YARD IF YOU LEAVE NEAR.
Management needs to take care of that.
Jen & Dennis are outstanding!! They were quick to assist me in getting my order straightened out after a snafu. Both are amazing folks who make you feel welcome & they are exceptional at what they do.
Air Machine for tires is out of order.
Men’s bathroom is out of order.
Milkshake machine is out of order.
Exterior of property has trash scattered all over.
Staff is friendly and helpful
Any size coffee just $1
Interior is clean and neat
