I am disappointed that they serve hot food directly on Styrofoam but use wax paper to separate the bread from the fish. Go figure. ????????♀️ You can't go wrong with the Basa Fish special, loads of fries, and decent pieces of fish. It's enough for two and at just under 9. Called ahead, order was ready. Nothing to write home about but it satisfies the craving for southern fried fish.
Washington Shore Seafoods been located in Orlando for over 40 years remember stopping by to pick up some food they will be playing checkers chess games and also horseshoes which they still do to this day I just went today and picked up a tilapia cheese grits and a Mountain Dew can't wait to eat it everybody should stop by and help keep this shop open doing what they do cook great food
Exceptional Fried Basa fish experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was fantastic, especially the fried fish in their lunch special. Despite the neighborhood's sketchy vibe, the service was top-notch. If you go often he will remember your name. ????Definitely worth a visit for delicious food and great service. Please call ahead and order to go. since everything is made fresh the wait is long but worth it.
This is a absolutely fabulous place for fried fish. They have every kind of fish that you can imagine. I love the catfish and my friend loves the mullet. They also have trout, grouper, swai and much more. They also have fried shrimp and chicken wings. Now this is not a fancy place and you just pull up to pick up your food and go. There is no inside dining. It’s not in the greatest neighborhood, but I’ve never had a problem getting anything from there. I do recommend to call in your order first so that it won’t take so long when you get there, but be prepared to be wowed because you can’t beat the prices and the boxes are overfilled when they give you the food. Great portions and great flavor. I definitely recommend.
Fish was soggy ???? french fries were good..hush puppies good.. shrimp was delicious..I needed Tatar sauce.. didn't give enough ketchup and hot sauce for the food portions.. food portions amazing..
The Basa Lunch Special is probably the best buy and they have grits available all day. The cheese grits are great!
If any time you want real fish fried right. This location is a go to spot that has been here for years and their prices could be more but are still good! The hot sauce is the absolute best tasting I have ever had so don’t leave without that ! Living here in Orlando there is not many places to choose from for fried fish, so if you are looking to get the most for your money, highly recommend.
Although most people seem to have a good experience here mines was not so pleasant. I ordered a whitting dinner, i was given some burned pieces which i could not eat and i asked for them to be replaced and was told no and that i could just take my money elsewhere. I will never go there again. Looks like a complete hole in the wall anyway, and the neighborhood looks like you might not make it out alive and the fish wasn't even seasoned good. Completely Overrated.
