AVOID!!! DAVID BROWN IS SHOCKING. CLAIMS TO ACT FOR BUSINESSES, CHARITIES & TRUSTS YET FAILED TO NOTICE THE APPLICANT WAS A BOARD DIRECTOR OF THE LARGEST NFP CHARITY IN THE UK. THAT EMERGENCY TAX CODES EQUATED TO UNDISCLOSED INCOME THAT EXCEEDED £100,000PA. FAILED TO REQUEST CONTRACT OF EMPLOYEMENT, CONTRACT OF SALARY SACRIFICE. COMPELLED ME TO RELINQUISH JOINT LIVES SPOUSAL ORDER WITHOUT FULL, FRANK DISCLOSURE, NON DISCLOSURE OF RELEVANT FACTS. FRAUDULENT DISCLOSURE. LYING TO THE LEGAL OMBUDSMAN, TO THE OPPOSING SOLICITOR. FAILURE TO RECORD ACCURATE ATTENDANCE NOTES. I LOST MY JOINT LIVES SPOUSAL ORDER BASED ON WRONG MISGUIDED ADVICE, CONTEMPT OF COURT!!!
Absolutely brilliant! Special mention to Taylor who was fantastic, incredibly responsive, and thorough - she really helped to reassure any anxieties. Also thanks to the lovely receptionist who was incredibly kind :). Could not recommend this firm enough! Will definitely be using their services again.
I rang the office for a quote, staff failed to do this so I had to chase. When I did chase it was clear I was forgotten about. I also had the pleasure of speaking to Rachel. She couldn't get me off the phone quick enough and patronised me throughout our conversation. In the end I used a local competitor, paid more and got a quality service

Rachel Alvey always very professional, and her assistant Taylor Turner went above and beyond throughout the whole stressful process, always on hand to assist, take a phone call with queries, as well as an extremely fast response to emails and continuous updates.
I can not praise the service enough and would use again without a second thought, as well as recommend.

Made a complaint about slow progress on probate in September 2022 and was told that the work would be done. Have had to make the same complaint in May 2023. No real progress had been made.
A badly run practice with poor oversight from the leadership team
Two colleagues of mine recommended Warnaby Hefford as they knew we was in the process of buying our first home and I'm very pleased they did. Rachel, Russell and Carla did a fantastic job, as a first time buyers we naturally have a lot of questions and they dealt with them very quickly, putting to rest any anxieties! We had a moving deadline and they were able to complete bang on schedule. Thanks again to the whole team!
I have used Rachel Alvey of Wartnaby Hefford for the conveyancing of several property transactions in recent years. Always excellent. Highly responsive & efficient. I always just hope that the other party has someone equally as efficient working on their behalf!
Giving one star because of the unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude manner of a member of staff in the wills department.
I recently contacted Mrs Carr regarding the death of my Fathers Wife to ask if it was possible to obtain a copy of her will as my father did not have a copy, I was asked for the death certificate and that an appointment would be needed first. When this was obtained I requested an appointment as there was a letter on file from WH stating my Father was an executor.
I was told by Mrs Carr she could not give me an appointment but that I had to drop the certificate in, and would not advise me of the next stage, even though I was asking if the will specified if my Stepmother wishes were to be buried or cremated as there was uncertainty from both sides.
I was dealt with in a most rude and unprofessional manner and Mrs Carr disconnected the call mid sentence. We have dealt with Jeremy Wakefied before and have found this to be satisfactory but this member of staff should be made aware of her unprofessional approach.
