Absolutely shocking brought a regular chips and looks like a Cone of chips!!! Can't even feed my kids with this bag £4.50 I paid for these and curry sauce ???? shocking we won't be buying from there again!! PLACE IS GONE DOWNHILL
Great place for a lovely fish and chips. The food is always spot on and warm. Stays warm for a while too which is great when you've got to drive home. I've never had one delivered from here though so can't say much on that.
The staff are polite and keep calm during stressful situations when it does get super busy. Always great when there's a good atmosphere.
There is a minimum card payment of £10 but there is a cash machine in the spar next door so very handy if you just want one cheap meal!
Four members of staff working no other customers but stood waiting not even acknowledged for so long I nearly walked out. Microwaved a pie for my order if I had known that I wouldn't have ordered. It was very zapped by the time it got to me. Chips ok sausage ok. Really disappointed and a waste of money that was a big treat to us. Service was terrible and when I was spoken to and served she was so grumpy definitely wasn't interested.
Just had the most disgusting fish and chips. fish was dry but covered in thick greasy batter. More batter than fish. Chips were dry and "bitty". We threw most of it in the bin. Wont go there again.
Spent over £50 to feed a few of us enjoying a garden birthday... DUSGUSTED! cod was tiny, bought 3 x cod for £22 and each was the size of an individual portion. Paid £5 each for 2 chips that looked like a 'small'. TOTALLY CHEATED and guests were still hungry!
I've always raved about warndon chippy, however something has drastically changed recently. The fish portions are tiny, the food is soggy and cold, the peas are just mush and the price is not the best. We've given it a couple of go's to see if it wasnt just us...but sadly, it hasn't changed.. Unfortunately we won't be going back again. ...
Warndon Fryer was the selection for the third week of our Council of Chips competition, where colleagues battle it out for the best mini fish & chips across Worcester.
£4.39 for mini fish, small sausage, chips and a pot of curry sauce is absolutely excellent value. The food was all cooked fresh to order as there was five of us. The chips were great, the fish was battered well, if a little thick for a few of the office, (although the establishment offers the option to customise your batter as per your preference, we did not take this option in the interest of parity across our review process).
Overall an excellent fish and chip experience, hot, fresh and crunchy in all the right places. A curry sauce to die for, much like Bath Road's consistency, nothing to fault all round.
The one thing we have noticed since establishing the Council of Chips is that no chip shop is adding salt/vinegar to the chips first, the fish seems to absorb most of this essential seasoning, leaving the chips a little on the dry and saltless side. Who will be the first to take up this new tactic of salting the chips before caressing the cod?

I cannot fault the place. I went in expecting to have to wait but staff were straight over to me asking if they could help. The chips were sensational and generously portioned. I will certainly be back in the future.

I like to leave a balanced review mentioning the positives then touching on any negatives, before summing up with a usually positive round up.
The only thing i dislike about this chippy is that it isn't closer to my house.
