My In-Laws recommended we have lunch here before showing us the rest of the town. I wanted something simple and I ordered the chicken salad croissant and it was awesome! Just the right amount of sweet. My fiancé order the pizza burger and he said they did a great job bringing the ingredients together to make it take like a pizza. My In-Laws got the Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches and one of them was jumbo! They were both cooked perfect with fresh toppings. Can’t wait to come back here and try more! We also got one of their shirts for the 10% discount the next time we come in wearing it! Thank you for the kind service!
Salad was huge for only being a half salad. Everything in it was so fresh and presentation was on point. The onion rings were really good and fresh as well. Spouse had the burger and fries and it had plenty of toppings and was cooked fresh to order as well. Very glad we turned around and came back, it was delicious!
Passing through town and decided to stop by for dinner. First time customer. Parking lot is spacious.
There were customers already in the restaurant but some of the ceiling lights were off. The waitress came over and turned them on but half of them were burnt out so it didn't make a huge difference.
The bathroom was mostly clean but the walls and door could use a good scrubbing. I saw four different female employees standing around the cash register so they had plenty of help and time to clean. If you have time to lean then you have time to clean.
Food was good. I had a cheeseburger and mashed potatoes with gravy. No spoon for the mashed potatoes which was a bummer. Ever try to scrape mash out of a styrofoam dish? My companion had a pulled pork sandwich and french fries. The potatoes were delicious both mashed and fried.
The whole restaurant just felt a tiny bit neglected. How difficult or expensive is it to replace light bulbs? Or scrub the edge of the bathroom door where people touch it?
Kinda made me wonder what the kitchen looked like.
After reading the response from the owner I'm adding the following.
I was there for dinner and that is hours after lunch with plenty of time to clean up. It costs mere pennies to purchase cleaning products and light bulbs are not going to break the bank either.
Blaming the previous owner for the appearance of the business from two years ago is unprofessional as is choosing to utilize all capital letters. Not sure how the pictures I posted are lying.
It's also not my responsibility to reach out via Facebook and presumptuous to assume that it was worth my time at the moment. Looking at the responses from the owner to other reviews, it's acceptable for her to wait 5 months after someone posted reviews a year ago to respond but shame on me for writing mine a week after visiting. ????♀️
The tenderloin, tots, rings, and brown cow cheesecake, were all excellent! This was our first visit. We will be back!
Ate here Friday and today, Wednesday, and both times the food has been delicious and the service exemplary. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I appreciate that they have gluten free buns, they're so good, and french fries that I can eat. That may not seem like much, but to someone who normally can't order them due to cross contamination, that's a big deal.
The food was delicious. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries and it was fresh. The service was great. Wonderful, friendly workers. The vibe of the place was cute. Nice and open. Will definitely come here again.
Great food. The service was fast and the staff kind. It is a little expensive for what it is. If you get a player and drink you are paying $15-17. But an overall great place!
We stopped today as many places are closed, due to it being Ascension Day. Plus great reviews. You order from the counter, pay and sit. They bring food to you. I had a grilled chicken salad and it was huge. I brought half home. The chicken was tender and abundant. Hubby had a double cheeseburger, they come plain but ask for toppings. The beef is fresh not frozen and was amazing. He took half home too. We definitely will come back on our next trip to the area. My second salad pic is what I took home.
