Met a friend here before a DC Defenders game at Audi field. Despite a Nats game going on and the football game happening later, the staff handled everything very well. They were patient as my friend was late, and people buzzed everywhere.
They have a very good beer selection, something for everyone.
The cheeseburger was cooked just as I requested and the fries were crispy and well fried.
I want to explore more of the menu.
Will definitely return here, whether before a Nats, United or Defenders game.
Dope sports bar. Wish I could have come in the thick of weekend sports, but found the spot for the late night Sunday Night Football game. Service was great. Kayla was an awesome waitress. Food was delicious as well. I had the Spinach Dip and Walter's Burger. My boys had the Potato Munchers and the Smoked Turkey sandwich, and my other boy had a Cheeseburger. The cool part was one of my boys ordered a Long Beach Drink and they accidentally made two. They ended up giving us a drink for free. Great service.
What a gem! Everything here was top notch, from the food, to the atmosphere, the drinks. EVERYTHING. We came here for a company dinner and they did not disappoint. Everything taste better when someone else is paying lol. But we had one server Jordan for a party of probably 30 people and she CRUSHED IT! She never seemed overwhelmed, she stayed in high spirits, high energy and delivered AMAZING customer service. She was so nice we stayed after most of our coworkers left and just hung out with her. The wings were touch notch, but the lamb jerk pasta ???????????????? was some of the best pasta I’ve tasted. A definite must try, if I am in D.C again I will definitely be dining here again.
I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and it was so good!! The bread was toasted sourdough with butter and it was to DIE for! The sandwich was stuffed with sliced turkey and the vegetables were fresh.
The environment was open with ample seating. The restaurant is lined with huge screens, which is great for any game day. There is seating at the bar, outside, and around the restaurant. The bar is also lined with outlets and usb plugs so that’s super convenient!
The restaurant is open late so that’s a bonus. The staff was attentive and friendly. I recommend trying this place out!
Visiting from Charlotte NC and found this amazing bar! We had the best waitress we could ever ask for, Tommie! She told us all about hot spots we should visit on our weekend trip and how to make the most of our time - she’s amazing!! Tommie recommended the Walters burger (you need to order this it was delicious) and my boyfriend could not stop talking about how good their wings were. We also split the spinach artichoke dip which was cooked to perfection. Best restaurant in DC because of her! Highly recommend adding Walters as a place to eat and grab some drinks! Thank you Tommie!!!
The atmosphere and food were awesome! The manager especially provided amazing service to us. We are visiting from Canada and she could not have been more accommodating, she set up TV’s for us to watch hockey, got us busy reservations for multiple nights, and truly made our first experience in the area one to not forget! 10/10 recommend.
Visiting Walter's for the first time was such a pleasant surprise! I live in the area and I had never been before... what a mistake that was. The food was amazing. In less than a week we've now been there twice and each time was so relaxed and chill. Lorraine (hopefully I'm spelling that correctly) and her team were so helpful and patient. Food came out swiftly and our servers (Jenna, then Tommy) made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The happy hour menu was super solid (and tasty) and the energy in the building was refreshing and fun. I STRONGLY recommend you give Walter's a chance!
The food here was much better than expected. Our server was attentive and we did not feel rushed to leave.
We stopped in to enjoy an MLS game, which the staff kindly put on for us at a nearby TV.
We ordered the potato munchers which were delicious. The portions were large, so we comfortably split the smoked turkey sandwich. The only detractor was the rowdy younger crowd, but it did not prevent us from watching the game or enjoying our experience.
