Grand opening. A new Vietnamese restaurant with a new owner. Just opened less than 2 weeks ago. The dish was delicious especially the traditional Vietnamese noodle Pho. The restaurant was clean, nice quiet environment with polite waiters. Best Vietnamese restaurant in South Miami. Recommended
Nice place. Great atmosphere. Gets packed in the mornings. Went for a late breakfast on a Saturday and sat outside. We had to wait around 20 mins to be sitted. The food was good, great portions and it's affordable.
We had a decent experience. Great atmosphere.The food was good except for my wife's order. She got a bowl of blueberries. We didn't know they would be frozen. Other than that my food was great! I got the steak bomb omelette and a pancake. Our waitress gave us great customer service. Our bill didn't break the bank either. Good old American eats????????
Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. Nobody was friendly. All running around like a chicken without a head. Complaining that they are understaffed. Forget about the food. The grits were not cooked properly and thrown on the plate like slop. The eggs tasted like they were from a carton. And they threw a handful of cheddar cheese on top of it. I waited 25 minutes// not worth the wait…
Delicious breakfast with fast service. Not super busy when we arrive around 8:15am on a Thursday morning but filled up as the time passed. My 3 year old and I shared the chicken tenders and waffles. It was really good...the chicken is very well done and it's really meaty, not dry and not ALL breading. Has to be done in house. We drive by everyday on the way to school but this is our first visit and it won't be our last!
If you're in Palmetto Bay and looking for a cozy coffee shop with delicious comfort food, look no further than Walters on 17009 S. Dixie Highway. I recently had their meatloaf, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot on. The meatloaf was cooked to perfection, with a savory and juicy texture that left me craving for more. The presentation was also impressive, making it a visually appealing dish.
In addition to the meatloaf, I also tried a new item on their menu, the Conch Fritters, and they were a delightful surprise. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the Conch Fritters were bursting with flavors. I loved that they had different sauces available, and I tried two of them, which added an extra layer of taste to the dish.
Aside from the delicious food, I also appreciated the updated hours of operation at Walters. They are now open from 7 AM to 3 PM on Monday through Thursday, giving you the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch. On Fridays and Saturdays, they extend their hours until 11 PM, providing a cozy spot for a dinner outing. On Sundays, they are open until 10 PM, making it a great place for a leisurely brunch or an early dinner.
Overall, my experience at Walters was fantastic. The meatloaf was top-notch, the Conch Fritters were a pleasant surprise, and the availability of different sauces added an extra layer of flavor. The updated hours of operation also make it convenient for different meal times throughout the week. If you're in the Palmetto Bay area, I highly recommend checking out Walters for some delicious comfort food and a cozy coffee shop experience.
This rating is based on my over all experience. Not just the one (1) thing that ruined the experience.
My daughter and I arrived around noon and entered the door specified as entrance. There was no one there to greet us upon entering. We then went to the other entrance were we requested seating only to be sent back to the door we came in. The table we were seated at was dirty. Although the young man tried his best to pick up the pieces of food off the table before we sat down. We ordered our drinks first, boba for myself (golden tea) and a mimosa for my adult daughter. The taste was not favorable for either drink but specifically the boba was excessively sweet and had a sour (rancid taste) instead of describing my issue and sounding rude I requested to swap out the boba for another flavor. The waitress was helpful and quickly made an effort to change my drink however came back shortly to advise the owner refused to swap my beverage and would charge me for both the replacement and the one previously ordered despite only taking a sip. Being this was my first visit to this restaurant I was astounded that’s was the go to response for a customer requesting to change something in their order. The proper thing to do was to perhaps disclose yes I would be charged but not flat out decline or inquire what can be done to make my beverage more pleasant to drink.
With that said the desire to continue my review isn’t even worth any more of my time.
Had the Usual & the Coachs favorite with an order of waffles. Everything was great expect the waffles was burnt so badly my son didn’t want to eat it. It has a char taste is it. ????
