First time here and so glad we stopped to try it!
We arrived about a half hour before they closed but they never made us feel like we had to hurry. Even after they closed, the staff sat down and ate, which was nice because they still didn’t say we had to leave.
The food was quick to come out and it was delicious!
The prices are very reasonable. You get large enough portions to share. We will definitely be back to try their other dishes!
Driven by this little gem for a very long time. Very pleased we decided to stop here for the very 1st time. Food order arrived very quick. Staff was friendly. You're able to order and take out. Food was delicious, will definitely eat here again!
This is a very appealing and traditional Mom and Pop neighborhood Chinese food sit down and take out. Owners were very accommodating and made me food for takeout just before closing. Price also very reasonable in today’s price hiking climate it was only $10 for a one item and rice dinner that came with an egg roll and shrimp appetizer.
The broccoli beef was quite good, but it was somewhat sweet and I prefer a more savory (unsweetened ) brown sauce. That being said, I understand sweet preference is the way of the typical American palate and they’re probably trying to please most customers.
It was well cooked, broccoli al dente - not overdone, and I will return to eat in, and request some of their savory selections.
Small clean cafe offers a variety of Chinese food items. Food is pretty good and prices are okay. This was my second visit and I will return to try more items on the menu.
Local hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant with generous lunch specials. They’re open for takeout and delivery during coronavirus, which was great to know since my mom was craving hot and sour soup. We ordered over the phone and it took only ~15 minutes for the food to be ready. There’s a small parking lot and they do take credit card.
The lunch specials are a really good deal, as they are very generous with the portion size and they have a lot of options. They come with fried or white rice, a veggie egg roll, and a cracker. The salt and pepper pork chop is on the saltier side, and the texture is similar to Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The chicken lo mein was a bit bland but the texture of the noodles was nice and chewy. The cashew chicken was my favorite, and was still good the next day when we had the leftovers. 3 lunch specials and one hot and sour soup came out to be $31 so it’s very friendly on the wallet.
Dec 2023: High prices and very bland food. They used to be very good, but maybe they changed owners/cooks? Their fried “dumplings” had solid pieces of chicken breast and not the traditional pork mix- yuck! The egg too young looked and tasted like leftover hashbrowns. I won’t go back there again ????
The service is very nice and hospitable. The food is thoroughly cooked, very tasty, and brought out promptly. A nice place to sit down for lunch or an early dinner.
The owners offer the best treatment you can receive. You will be treated like royalty and the food is very well prepared.
