Giving 5 stars because of Sheryl (spelling?) in the baking department. I placed a cake order for my 11 years old birthday on Tuesday. It was a hard enough day to get through with her dad (my husband)being deceased and missing yet another birthday. Shelly says That they tried to call which they did and I called twice before going down there with no answer from them.Get there today to pick up the cake and im told it was never made because they don't have the image even though it was selected from THEIR book of choices. Shelly was an absolute nightmare and didn't care at all. I had a complete breakdown in the store, manager came over and offered to ice the image. That was fine with me. Came back half hour later to get the cake, open the box, and all the side icing rips off. I confront Shelly and ask for a manager in which she proceeds to tell me she can't call for a manager. At this point my tears start yet again. Sheryl comes out and I explain the situation. She gives me so many hugs, fixes the cake, puts it in a bigger box and comps the cake for me. Thank you Sheryl for turning a disaster and a hard day into one that we were able to get through. I seriously can't thank her enough.
I had a great experience getting a last minute Birthday cake yesterday. The staff was great and the bakery manager was there too helping me with my purchase. The cake decorator did a beautiful job customizing it for my sister Jennifer’s birthday and the cake was absolutely delicious. Thank you all again for the great service and cake.
Wife came home with Iceberg lettuce for our tacos tonight. More and more bugs with each peel of the layers of lettuce. Disgusting.
Love the decor, Walmart sure has kept up on the styles & needs. Bought a window ac unit & ended up not needing it. Zero problems amount return.
I went into buy a new phone and the employee was a young man and this was his first commission and since the phones are in my husband's name I had to have him come up there the next day with me. Thanks Verizon dumb rule but whatever. Anyway he was having a hard time due to something and the other guy with more experience who I guess comes from different stores to help out was absolutely no help to this young man. He was more interested in any young woman that happened to come around. Did not explain anything to him did not help him in any way. By the time we left I had a new account and my husband ended up with my old phone number and I had a completely different one. What a mess. I called Verizon when I got home and they got it figured out and fixed and stated they had never seen anything like this before. I will never go back there again and I hope that young man finds a different place to work somewhere that he can actually learn something. He was so polite and I felt so bad for him.
Pickup department, STOP PLACING ONE ITEM IN A BAG! There is absolutely no reason for this. You guys are so notorious for doing this, and it’s a waste of supplies. Every single order I deliver with Spark has an insurmountable number of one item bags, all grocery related too. it’s absolutely ridiculous. For example, they put one can in a bag and another can in another. Like, are you kidding me?? Pack those bags up.
Never stole anything but get registers shut down on me. Don't like being accused of stealing. Them they move things around every 5 minutes so you have to wander to find what you want. Have the best selection of movies in area. Only reason i go there anymore.
This review is specific to the bakery. I had picked out a cake in their book ( pink princess cake)but wanted to change up to go along with our Alice in ONEDerland theme. I spoke to the baker and she took notes and was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very sweet and kind and was excited to do it. Let me tell you she absolutely nailed it! The cake was absolutely beautiful and I was able to add on my little details that I had bought (pocket watch, key, card suits). It was perfect! Everyone was shocked that I had ordered it from Walmart. It was delicious and so beautiful. The smash cake was perfect as well. I will 100% be back for birthdays! Can’t thank her enough for her hard work and for making our day extra special.
