I visited the Claire's inside this store. I inquired why they were being so unsafe about piercings.
Claire's is promoting unsafe nose piercing. They are piercing noses and cartilage with the same device that is only supposed to be used on ear lobes. I found that the store doesn't even have a basic hand washing sink. The sink that's available is there for looks. It doesn't work.
Upon my visit, I found out that the girl who was on staff to pierce that day had minimal training and was unleashed upon the public. She read a manual, pierced a silicone ear, pierced the managers nose, and the wal-mart greeter's cartilage with the piercing gun device. She was then allowed to pierce the public. It was appalling that a big corporation would disregard public health and safety standards and put their monetary interest before the safety of children. I WAS DISGUSTED!
This is not my usual Walmart (Shelby is) but I was in town visiting my mom. This Walmart is terrible. Many items were out of stock and the general inventory was limited compared to Shelby’s Walmart. For example, this Walmart doesn’t even carry Disney Princess Barbie Dolls. Furthermore, half of the store is locked away behind glass cases. You go find an associate and they don’t have a key so they have to call for someone that does and you end up waiting for an extended length of time for them to arrive. Then they won’t even let you carry the item around with you while you finish shopping. They take it to the service desk or self checkout, forcing you to use the self checkout when you’re done shopping. I literally had to stand and wait on $25 Legos for my 10 year old! Ridiculous items were locked up when there were other items worth higher value left unlocked. Items such as Legos, hair straighteners and hair dryers, razor blade refills, spray paint, anything in the electronic department including phone cases and popsockets, and even some of the stuff in the arts and crafts department were locked up.
Can’t complain too much everything seemed good. My only thing was maybe clean up more. The dressing rooms were a mess.
Don't go in here very often due to my anxiety and the crowd. However I love the hot bar at the Deli! Their hot wings are so so so good! Some of the best hot wings I've had, the customer service is always nice as well.
I worked at Walmart for like a week the workers are really nice and why they were training me they treated me with so much respect my boss was very nice my coach was awesome and my team lead it was awesome I was a door greeter at Walmart but due to unexpected health problems I had to end up quitting my job I will miss you all and I'm sorry that I had to quit y'all will always be like family to me at my local Walmart here on Forest City North Carolina and you are looking for a job I do recommend anybody to apply at Walmart I want to thank Walmart for giving me an opportunity to work during orientation it was very easy and simple to do everything including the on board training I also wanted to thank my supporter employment worker for getting me on at Walmart also if you are a customer and you're having a bad day please don't take it out on the door greeters all they are there for as to welcome you to Walmart and to thank you for coming to Walmart and to wish you a good day and also to check your receipt it's not their fault that you have a bad day so please don't take it out on them also I want to end by saying I do use Walmart pickup a lot and the Walmart pickup people are very very very nice to me they treat you very respectful when they bring your groceries out to your car and they handle your groceries with care
First off all, they always seem to be out of so much or just don't have it there like the one in Shelby. The most frustrating and annoying thing about this Walmart is that it never fails that I need something that has been put in a case. Blades for my razor, perfume, you know those items that they say are worth locking up. Apparently there is 1 person in the whole store that has a key to the razor case and couldn't be found so they were paged. 40 minutes waiting until they came. Every other time with the other items it is no less than a 20 minute wait to find someone with a key. Only a few special employees are allowed to have a key and good luck finding them. It's ridiculous and obnoxious that they lock up items that don't need to be locked up and then make it as difficult as possible to get it. They have a million cameras in the store and if they can't catch a thief, that should be on them. Not on the customers that only have ten minutes before work to run in and get what they need and leave and can't. Stupid. Do better Walmart!
Not a big fan. Needed a propane tank for a cold next day travel softball game. I got there and they had 1 tank left that was robbed out of a 2 pack. I got that and got my daughter a chair and a few other things. I spoke to the cashier at self checkout. Explained my situation and it was the only one left and asked if I could just pay for a single tank. I was literally told to pay for both of don't get it. I asked to speak to a manager. Same story. They were not even polite about it. I shouldn't have to pay for 2 tanks and only get 1. It's not my fault someone stole the other and they want me to cover the costs? I maybe not so politely threw the canister back into the cart and said that's fine. You can put all of this back and throw the propane can in the dump because no one is going to do that. Walmart has forgotten how they got big. People used to be able to shop here with confidence. They have also forgotten who their base customers were.
They only had one person running check out. Everybody else is responsible for checking themselves out at self-serve check. I absolutely Hate having to do that myself.
