Pretty good spot to grab a bite. I tend to go for the ribeye or pasta, but the hangover burger hits the spot sometimes. Gumbo is good too. Not a huge fan of the dine-in experience- that part I found average. Late operating hours make this place a godsend on days I can't get to cooking until it's late, and the takeout tends to retain its quality. Just be sure to check your bag before leaving because they often forget parts of smaller orders (had to go back in for the cup of gumbo, etc).
The atmosphere was lively and casual, really nice for a weekend date.
Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Her service was great.
I have an obsession with buffalo wings right now so we got boneless buffalo wings as a starter, they were terrific with their ranch.
For our entrees, we wanted to try a bit of everything so we got the Cajundilla and the Louisiana Platter. The Cajundilla was flavorful and just a little spicy. My favorite part of the Louisiana Platter was the Jumbo Shrimp. They were massive, plump, juicy, crispy, and the cocktail sauce was sublime.
10/10 would recommend.
Great place, good consistent menu, fun atmosphere! Love the outdoor patio and that you can bring your dog - not many places around here offer that! Perfect place for drinks and apps with friends or a family dinner! The spinach and artichoke dip and the Tuscan Chicken are incredible!!
We had fantastic service. The lemon butter grilled chicken over grits was paired perfectly with a side of broccoli. The boudin balls were definitely a hit.
We had a wild bunch tonight outside on the patio and Alex Savoy did an amazing job getting our food and drinks out. We had a party of 16 and our tickets were separated perfectly! Great personality and super knowledgable!
Had a great experience with our waitress Shardae! We had a party of 20 people and she did an amazing job of taking care of all of us all by herself! Highly recommended her if you are eating at Walk Ons!
This restaurant is always very loud. The music and the people talking... maybe it's just me getting older. The food is always excellent I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of broccoli and my wife had the ribeye steak sandwich. We visit about once every couple of months. Emily our server did great.
Alex S was on point! She was very attentive, polite and super friendly! Even though the gator was out her taco recommendation to replace what we wanted was phenomenal! Thanks Alex! Made our date night pretty sweet. ????????
