The entertainment is good & fun but the food & no table service are very DISAPPOINTING for $199, absolutely not worth it! The locations is nice and other hotel guests can watch the show (without need to pay be $199), the food is like variations of “golden coral” type buffet but less choices. It’s really overpriced. I paid too much but the other guest were just easily watched the show from the grounds in which the only good part, skip the food & etc. it wasn’t good anyway. We the paying guest seated cramped. I am very disappointed, we expect better food & service for the $199, absolutely not worth $199, I should have use it for other activities, so do not waste your money for this!
Beautiful location with view and access to the ocean, which is what I’m assuming you’re paying for. There are no servers for your table, so you are expected to get in line for a buffet style dinner. If you’re at the end of the line, your food will be cold as was ours. Also expected to stand in line for any drinks. It was extremely windy the evening we attended, and our drinks blew over multiple times, so we sat at a table with a very wet tablecloth that was dripping against our legs and clothing. We were told there were no additional cloths to swap it out. The entertainers were pretty good, but the atmosphere is more like a Vegas style lounge lizard. I wish I would’ve spent my money elsewhere.
The atmosphere is beautiful but the meal is cheap wedding food. Meat is tough, limited seafood, dessert is slab cakes, etc. The setting is great, on the ocean with great view of the sunset. Service is fine, but again it is like a conference and wedding. For the price I would recommend going to a special restaurant on the Island. Then hit the hotel bar so you can see the luau entertainment.
Scott G. McCoy, Concierge/Marketing Executive, assisted in setting up our Luau for a group of 7, (5 adults, 2 children) of which one adult has severe allergies to fish, nuts, and pineapple. Scott made sure the chef and staff knew of the allergy, and her plate was double checked by staff at the buffet. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time! The setting is beautiful, oceanfront and sunset, the show entertaining and we all enjoyed the buffet.
Best luau on the island. We had a wonderful time. We’ve been to other shows on the island but this one is by far my favorite. That dancers were beautiful and the announcer was amazing. Very organized and thought out.learned a lot about the history of Hawaii. Can’t wait to go back.
This was everything you would expect at a luau: all you can eat buffet with all the traditional foods and desserts, all you can drink bar, a beautiful sunset, perfect weather, beautiful and handsome hula and fire dancers, lots of talent. The host was funny and really knows the heritage of Hawaii. Our family enjoyed it very much!
This was a great luau! There’s a little cultural overview, fire dancing (our favorite), open bar and great food. This is buffet style and similar to a wedding you’re called by table. Get there early as seating is first come first serve. There’s a VIP option which gives you closer seating, a box of cookies and one of the first tables for the buffet. They use the traditional emu oven which others in the area don’t. It was a fun evening which I would highly recommend.
The extreme wind ruined the entire experience. Drinks were blown over all on the table constantly and table cloth was never replaced. Cold food as we were the last to be called. Drinks were ok, show was sub-par and free to anyone who walked up. Sucks to pay $200 a ticket while others are watching for free. Disappointed is an understatement.
