Best KPortal Reviews
My family and I ordered take out. This is my first time trying out this place. The food is delicious. We received ample portions. I loved the general tso chicken ,and my family really enjoyed their seafood. Definitely recommend this place. We'll be back . Also the young lady who worked there was extremely nice. Thank you
I've eaten here before and the food was excellent! I ordered today and was very disappointed ????. They barely gave me any sweet and sour sauce with my chicken and it was watery. The sesame chicken had little sauce on it also. I couldn't pour any on my fried rice, which was very dry. I am so disappointed especially since I've had their food before. The only thing that was good was the spring rolls and chicken rolls. They were hot and fresh.
Very, very good and fresh American Chinese food. Not your nasty old cooking oil, hole in the wall place. My chicken shrimp wonton soup was chocked full of veggies, excellent crab Rangoon not overcooked (I'm a cream cheese fanatic and they were stuffed full!) Sweet staff. :)
It’s american chinese-style cooking, but NOT AUTHENTIC / NOT RECOGNIZABLE of any of the regional Chinese cuisines. The menu is a mere re-categorization of the same lists of food so commonly, and lamentably, so pervasively perpetuated among these types of eateries.
What’s going for this place is its nice dining ambience. On hot day, it’s got a cool environment. And yes, the service staff are very polite and also amenable to requests about the food they serve.
Unfortunately, like the usual chinese-style eatery, the menu is populated with deep fried stuff (egg rolls, etc)????????????. Deep frying is NOT a practice in Chinese cuisines….Then it lists General Tso’s as its specialty, which is NOT Chinese food.
Going through the entire menu, majority are “brown” sauce, which mean soy sauce????????????. There is more to real Chinese cooking than soy sauce bases. Most are stir fried.
There’s only two dishes worth ordering: Mixed vegetables with shrimps and Stir fried egg plant, with thick soy sauce instead of the common watery one.
First time ordering delivery, arrived still steaming hot. I got the lunch boxes to try a variety of items. I do highly recommend paying the additional dollar for white meat. I did for general tso and you can see the difference between that and the sesame chicken that I didn't. Crab Rangoon's are too sweet for my liking but if you prefer that then you'd enjoy them. Very generous portions and the flavors were your standard American Chinese takeout.
If you are going to go, please try the Nai Nai’s Cold Noodle Salad! It is delicious, crispy, full of flavor and the noddles are made in house! They also have the Mai Fun, which I did not have my phone at the time to snap a picture of, which is just as flavorful, savory with a tiny hint of heat.
I've been ordering food from Wai Wai for years. They have a wide variety of delicious food and you get a lot for the price. I can usually get two days out of an order. If you order for delivery they will say '45 minutes for delivery' but it seldom takes that long. And the food is still hot when you get it!!! Seriously, do yourself a favor and try their food, you won't regret it.
Very nice hostess, helped with the choice. Delicious food, large portions
