We ordered the Treasure Chest sushi, Spider Roll, and Spicy Tuna roll with a tall cold glass of Sapporo beer. The treasure chest comes out under a glass cloche with smoke- very exciting presentation. The service is attentive and friendly.
The service is great. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu items and knew what to recommend to make your experience better. Food is good quality(def get the pork ramen and any special roll), and the ambiance is of your local ramen spot. One thing that put a damper on our dinner was the fruit flies hovering around our table. The place was clean, so idk why ????♂️ there were fruitflies there.
We had an early dinner here. When we walked in it was pretty empty. But it filled up fast and when we left the place was full. We started with one shrimp tempura appetizer which we shared. It was good and we could have both ordered our own. After we ordered we went and got snacks from the grocery section which was fun. Our order came pretty quickly and everything was delicious. The fried rice & double shrimp roll were my favorites. My Son loved everything and even got another fried rice to go.???? We will definitely go back.
We ordered takeout and got the tonkatsu ramen & the crunchy salmon roll + four seasons roll. The tonkatsu broth was delicious and the sushi was very fresh and tasty. Would recommend.
Nice ambiance and friendly staff. The tempura is nice, crispy and tasty. The sushi is of the clueless variety and is another story.
Sushi. The rice is a sorry micro blob of cold rise made with the wrong variety of rice, overly compacted, with no flavor or texture and over all very sad. Far below the lowest true Japanese standard. That the fish is fresh does not rescue the debacle and merely make it passable. Too bad as I wanted to like the food at as much I liked the place.
Food is usually great! Except the sashimi was frozen which kinda gave it no flavor. This is the first time it’s been frozen like that, usually it’s fine!
High quality sushi, my favorite place to go to. Make sure to check out their lunch specials. Been dining here since 2012!
This was my first time here. I really enjoyed the ramen and sushi. We had a 20 minute wait but it was worth the wait. I will be going back and trying other menu items.
