Best KPortal Reviews

We visited today and were impressed with the place very nicely presented and staff were enthusiastic and friendly.
Food was lovely we ordered sundaes, our only issue was the strange pricing.
It was £7.50 for quite a small sundae! We ordered them to share thinking they would be a decent size. The massive waffle stack (which looks amazing) the lady next to us had was only £1 more than our small sundae! Needs to be bigger or much cheaper. It was delicious though.
Mother's day treat pancakes and waffle absolutely lush as were the drinks excellent service fab place definitely going again
Had a lush strawberry waffle sandwich which was shared my boyfriend and I as it was too big for one! Really quick & friendly staff. Thank you!
Disclaimer: It is their first day today, so things should improve with time/experience.
The interior decor is spot on, with a fun, nostalgic yet modern vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food has a way to go.
I ordered 2 chocolate chip waffles to take away. It took about 20 minutes and I got 2 cold waffles, without chocolate chips, with ice cream I didn't order that wasn't mentioned on the menu, making them go even more cold and soggy. I saw one of the employees put the box in the freezer to keep the ice cream from melting, making the waffle even more cold.
The quality of the waffle was otherwise good, but not what I ordered. I would go back if they can become more well-organised. The current rating is largely down to how over-priced the waffles are considering the customer experience I had. £7.50 is far too much for the current experience level. Something like £5 would be more reasonable if it was served faster and warmer, and with the promised chocolate chips in the batter.
I'll amend my review in future if I see improvement. I have high hopes for this place so I'll return in a month.
No idea personally what the waffles are like as I was refused service due to having a nut allergy (cross contamination fears). How they can offer a kids menu due to this is beyond me. Wife says her waffle was not good (hard, burnt and heavy) also the strawberries were tangy. Tea was also awful. Overpriced, cramped seating. total waste of space in the town AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Wonderful waffles and pancakes for a good price. I would highly recommend coming here for lunch, or a late breakfast. I believe that they have also combined with a café now so they provide more than a regular waffle house.
The milkshakes and food I got was very good and the staff are lovley there. However, they did get our order wrong. Meaning I ended up with something i didnt want. They also gave us the wrong scoop of icecream with my partner's order despite double checking our order.
Asked for kinder milkshake thinking it would be thick ice cream based and taste like kinder, was literally handed a watery basic chocolate flavour milkshake, just hope the food is better as £4.50 for a small milkshake is a bit pricey.
