I have eaten in many restaurants, and a lot of those establishments have been a Waffle House. It's much more enjoyable than some fancy place with $29.00 sandwiches.
The friendliness of this place was nice to see and experience. The food was as good as if I made the egg sandwich in my own kitchen.
The facilities are a tad bit worn, but all is well maintained and clean.
I knew my server was experienced, but it was stunning to learn that she has worked with Waffle House for forty years. She hustles like it's just the way she has always worked. I felt like my Momma was bringing me my breakfast.
The cook even slowed down to refill my coffee. I have NEVER EVER seen this level of team work in another Waffle House.
I am going to be in the area off and on for a few days....and will definitely come back for another scrambled eggs and bacon sandwich on toast.
It is nice to see there are just plain decent people in the world. I also briefly spoke with the manager, and it easily shows he is a 'real deal' kind of person and appreciates his co-workers as people and not just an answer to his problems.
I hope corporate appreciates this team also?
Our waitress was good & our food was great. Unfortunately, a different waitress repeatedly fussed at everyone else about things that should have been done prior to them getting busy, and how rough the lack of task completion by everyone else was going to be on her & all of them. Once would be understandable, as she did seem to be "right". But, despite the manager/cook very tactfully trying to calm her down, quiet her down, and to overall try to deescalate the issue. She continued to gripe at everyone ... repeatedly. My family & I have our own issues, I really didn't enjoy having to hear about that ladies complaints about her co-workers. She should've complained quietly to the manager, or taken it to the back.
Shame, because, again, our waitress was very nice. The food was prepared well. And everyone else seemed very professional.
My entire meal was wrong, We waited almost 30 mins for our food. Hash browns were like 1/4 the regular size. I won't be going back to this waffle house. The entire restaurant was nasty, floors had trash everywhere, the tables had to be cleaned to have anyone seated. This is the one next to props.
Skye took great care of us for a special family outing. Was probably the best bacon I've ever had at a Waffle House!
My friends and I love to go to the walffle house after the basketball and football games.
Made online order it takes 13min to get to restaurant, i made order before leaving my house i get there after waiting for a very long i finally received food I ask for extra butter i received 1 i get home and the food looked like my 7year made it, shells in my eggs, and was thrown in plate and looked like 1 egg a piece. For $12 unacceptable. Left a tip as well.......
Everyone was nice. Food was good. They forgot my husband’s cheese from his bacon egg cheese sandwich and sausage egg cheese.
This is one of the older Waffle Houses in the area, but with that come experience. The cooks were very efficient and organized. Our food was out fast, hot and delicious. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, the syrup bottle was not sticky. ???????? Miss Doris Rocks!
