It’s always fun to hang at Waffle House. No one is a stranger. You hear how some people on their way home to NE Indiana have to drive 1-1/2 hours to get to a Waffle House. Unimaginable! I come here for the piping hot grits. And I always get breakfast no matter what time of day it is. I love the Texas Bacon Egg Cheese Melt sandwich. Made perfectly with a heaping portion of bacon. The servers and cooks are always so friendly and personable. My server tonight was Courtney. She will take good care of you. Be sure to tip!
Don't know how they stay open. No one is ever there. ABC = Always Be Cleaning, not on your phone. Sure is different after Judy stepped down.
This is an inexpensive all around restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is quick and friendly.
Waffle House definitely doesn't get enough respect as a good breakfast joint. Food was perfect and came super quick after we ordered. And our server Kylee was phenomenal, just absolutely a positive attitude, someone who was happy to be there! Don't listen to the waffle house naysayers, they don't know what they're talking about!
2nd time here and food still good but today the cook burnt the bacon multiple times and I was upset that my toast was cold but we all know things happens but whoever cleans tables off need to make sure entire area is cleaned but besides that great greater and a amazing waitress.
To the waitress I truly appreciate your caring heart and remember you are someone special. Thank you for handling everything wrong quickly....
We had two all star breakfasts, and our eggs were a scrambled with cheese. Ebony made sure we had fresh grits and waffles light, and hot syrup. Bernard the cook did a great job today, the food was the best ever. Everything fresh and perfect. I was so glad to be in a place and feel comfortable, no masks which was wonderful. They made us feel like family today.
Waffle House is an intersection of race, SES, age, and religion-all in pursuit of an affordable, consistently predictable breakfast served with a smile by a band of hard-working servers in synchronization that rivals Olympic athletes!
