Very clean, other than some of the cooking areas, but if you know Waffle House, that is to be expected. It was open 24 hours/busy mess, not looking like it hadn't been scrubbed down in months mess. Bathroom and parking lot were clean as well. Staff was super nice and very attentive.
Friendly, nice greeting, and waitress efficient. Manager on grill, not greeting customers, not crisping hash browns, now sorry I got a double order. On phone, guess the relief cook late, but got the drawer changed at 2! Boxes on high counter, bread racks on booths, a little rough on the inside, bathrooms messy, but overall better than average WH experience!
We were the only table in the place and our waitress ignored us the whole time. First it took forever for her to come take our order. Then the flood took forever. We got our drinks shortly before we were done eating... Everything besides the taste of the food was not worth it. I also had a birthday free waffle in my email they wouldn't let me use because I had no way to print it. It was overall a.horrible experience.
As far as Waffle Houses go, this one is really good!
Quick service, clean tables, nice servers and good food. All of the employees appeared to be happy, working with good attitudes and as a team.

At the Waffle House on 1988 O'Neal Ln, Baton Rouge, LA, the manager began cleaning the ceiling over the food preparation area while our food was being prepared. I addressed it, and he ignored me and continued to clean the ceiling. The dirt was blowing everywhere, including over the food. This is unsanitary and unprofessional. He didn't care that the food was being contaminated by the dirt off the ceiling.The waitresses was very sweet. They even addressed the situation and told him to stop, but he just argued with them.
Sucks yall keep going up 25 cents. And the waitress has to pay it because I take 25 cents from her tip. ????
Omg I don’t even know where to begin with this place! But, I’ll make it short and (probably not so) sweet. So my boyfriend and I get there (the O’Neal Lane location) around 12:20 AM because where else are you going to eat after midnight? We walked in and got a booth at the opposite side of the restaurant from the door. No one greeted us like they’re supposed to. We sat there about five to 10 minutes and never saw a server or the cook. Finally, I saw the server get up from a booth on the other side of the restaurant and started clearing a table. That’s when I also noticed the cook sitting in the same booth playing on his phone. After 10 mins of being ignored, we decided to leave, and as we were going out the door, I asked, “does anybody work here?” and the cook and the server looked at me and they both raised their hands lol. I told them to continue playing on their phone, but corporate will be made aware of their behavior. There’s no reason for anybody to sit there 5 to 10 minutes and not even get a hello, no matter what restaurant it may be.
The very best teamwork amongst employees. Service was great.
