The staff here were all locals that were very pleasant and really nice. All of them had great personalities and were very likable to be around. 5 star / 2 thumbs up on this Waffle House. They all deserve more money for their service to this chain.
This may not be your momma’s home cooking, but you can definitely bring momma here. A symbol of breakfast and lunch (unknown to some) done simple and reasonable. The laminated, two side menu offers a limited options of breakfast bowls, hash browns, eggs, sides and yes, waffles. Just don’t be asking for pancakes. Lunch offers even less with a few Angus burgers and/or Texas melts. Most seating is wrapped around the cooking area so servers can sling your order right to you from the grill. Otherwise, booth seating lines the walls. Our All Star Breakfast comes fully loaded with two eggs done your way, choice of toast and meat, grits or hash browns and their signature waffle. Simple scrambled eggs, Jimmy Dean sausages, raisin toast and their sweet, crisp waffles can certainly fill you up. Throw in a double order of their grilled hash browns for a meal deal all under $15 and feeding two. Service was friendly and food came made to order in a timely manner. Head south and see what you are missing.
Philly cheesesteak omelette, with onions and jalapeños was excellent! with a side of grits and a waffle. No grease found on the plate or omelette and the grits was “not” floating in a soup of butter. My experience was “five-star” including service and cleanliness.
Me & my Son always eat there on Sundays after church, he eats there more often than once a week because it's convenient, but we usually eat at the one in Murrell's Inlet across from CVS. But the other night, we went to the one on 707 and while it was Christmas night, everyone was friendly, he always orders and pays extra for a double order on His Bacon, Egg and cheese Hash brown Bowl, it was a single order when we got home to eat and unwrap presents for Christmas!!!! This DISAPPOINTED the both of us very much!!!! Cause we surely didn't want to go back out into the weather!! But he PAID for DOUBLE!!! Our bill was like near $40 for half our order!!! So, it set an unpleasing mood for the night,,, Christmas Night WHICH Suppose to be SPECIAL!!!!
SO I WONT BE GOING BACK TO THAT ONE CAUSE EVIDENTLY THE COOK CANT READ DIRECTIONS AND THE WAITRESS DIDN'T CHECK THE ORDER, like a good waitress supposed to. Although she was nice!! I saw that they ALMOST forgot to put bacon on my chicken BLT with cheese plate. Hash browns was great cause the cook evidently got mine mixed in with a special order. I know how to order my hash browns now!! I was, and still, highly p.o. because my Son's order wasn't right and he had to pay all of that money for it, and he also usually gives a great tip!! So it ruined part of our first Christmas we've had together in 10 years!!! Thank you very much!!!
Excellent waffles and amazing, friendly service! Glad we stopped in on our way home back to Canada. Would highly recommend.
It was SO cold, That I couldnt finish my steak and eggs while they were hot. The whole store was cold. Hard ti enjoy giid foid and company when you're so cold inside.
Everytime I walk in they speak and they don’t know me! The staff is friendly, quick, and don’t discriminate as often happens in Myrtle Beach. Idc what Waffle House is closest to you, make the drive to this one!
We got to the restaurant and sat at the counter. Waited, and waited. Employees were busy washing dishes or yelling about if an order was placed. Everyone looked quickly at us and NEVER acknowledged us. After 10 minutes of being ignored we left.
