Good food - fast too!
Jan 2024 stopped here again and Star took great care of us!
Tip: they still have the omelettes and steak & egg meals. It’s just not on the menu for some reason. ????????
If I could give negative stars I would , I used to remember this place as a nice diner with awesome food. The whole place is disgusting the tables were all dirty with food on them. The drinks were hot. The food was disappointing. I’ve never had a bad review for this place but if the health department was to come in they would shut this place down. It is so bad and nasty !!! I used to talk so highly of this place now it is embarrassing that I even tried to eat here today ! Y’all need clean employees , clean atmosphere and listen to customers orders when they explain how they would like it. The crew itself needs to learn about personal hygiene as well. God help this place !
As a previous Waffle House employee I know the job can be stressful but I just had the worst experience at this location. When I can hear the cook talking badly about me because he didn’t make my food right the first time I’m offended. His comment was that someone should be cooking at home and if it wasn’t for the storm we had today taking out the electricity I would’ve cooked at home. Thanks for the comment man, I took my hungry self home
To me, it seems, places like this are always a bummer. One of my son says the Waffle House in London is completely different, and so much better. But this one in Corbin is unbearably freezing cold, like the kind of cold that will kill you. We were there at 6:00 a.m., but the coffee still tasted wretched and old. I didn't even finish my first cup. Anyway, I hate to complain too much about anything - but there are other options for meeting people, or just having coffee and bite to eat so early in the morning. You probably already know what you like, and what works for you, so YMMV.
I stopped in to get a coffee on a long road trip in the middle of the night during 3rd shift. I had good conversation with Kenny the cook and Alliyah the server. Real nice people. If I'm ever out this way in the future, I'll definitely be stopping back.
One of the best I've been to. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and they ran like a well oiled machine. Food was good. Will be back if we travel this way again
Most enjoyable place my 9 yr old son and I like to grab after school lunch. Great service, super friendly and inviting. Definitely would recommend this location any time of day.
Was just in to get breakfast to go. My one stop for the morning and I wasted it here. Girl takes my order I give her $3.00 tip on a $9.00 bill then she leaves and goes outside while my order is being made wrong.
Then you can't call to restaurant to actually talk to a person about this poor service.
She needs to give my tip to her coworkers because she didn't earn it that's for sure!
My order was wrong and I'm still hungry.... so she's taking you all down with her:(
