Very nice experience here for lunch. Our food was good, clean restaurant and restrooms. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Right off of I-81.
Friendly staff and they took our order and came out with our food within 10 minutes. Food is amazing, I think it’s better than any breakfast place I’ve had!
I've been a regular at this Waffle House, often visiting around 4:00 AM. Unfortunately, the service has significantly declined with the female server that is usually there at this time. She consistently neglects to check on guests after serving their food. Today, my waffle was completely forgotten until I reminded her at the end of the meal. When we arrived, the cook had to ask her to get up from a booth where she was lounging instead of attending to customers. On a previous visit, she failed to make a fresh pot of coffee, leaving me without the coffee I requested. This lack of attentiveness and professionalism is disappointing and needs immediate improvement.
I've been eating at Waffle House for 30 years up and down the east coast and this is by far the best one I have ever been to. We came in as a group of 12 right at shift change and it was the best service from both 1st and 2nd shift. We all received our orders correctly and in a timely fashion. Which is an impressive feat coming from a former employee. I hope our travels bring us back this way in the future. Bravo to this store and all its employees!
My omelette had zero ham and was burned. She added the cheese to the hashbrowns last minute once in the to go plate because I told her it was suppose to be covered. They did not provide toast either. Horrible.
We stopped by late at night Monday 3/26/24 on the way home. Ashley along with the cook were great! Very personable and pleasant during the visit. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and we will definitely stop again on our travels. The food was very good!
OK, Waffle House isn't for everyone, I get that. We're not talking about Micheline stars here. The food is simple and filling. Not a lot of variety. Service can be hit or miss. But still, I love coming here. Sometimes simple is best, and nothing beats a double (who am I kidding, make it a triple) serving of crispy hash browns, covered capped and diced, over-easy eggs, a side of crispy bacon, steaming cup of dark roast coffee (if you ask for it specifically they'll brew a pot for you). If you're in-the-know, you might even order those "secret" pork chops for breakfast! Have a nice chat with your server and enjoy the controlled chaos of the kitchen with orders being shouted back and forth. For extra fun, see if you can decipher the secret code they use with jelly and butter packets on the plates to tell what needs to be cooked next. Oh, and even if you don't order a world-class waffle, you'll enjoy the aroma all the same.
I love waffle House but unfortunately did not love this one. The food was simply not good. The waffle came out burnt and I had to send it back. When the new one came out it was tiny and about 2/3 the normal size. They skimped on the hash browns and the ones on the plate were partially burnt and hard as a rock, so hard they were difficult to chew! They skimped on the eggs as well. Not a good experience!
