My first time at Waffle House. Been wanting to go for a long time. My wife and I ended up sharing the All Star Breakfast, and thank Be Jesus we did because it was huge. Food was good and reasonably priced.
A very non-horrifying Waffle House. Our server was so plentiful with the WH sauce. The bathrooms were there when you needed them. 10/10 would visit this House again.
My son and I travel back and forth across the state once to twice a month. We stopped in to this Waffle House because we're tired of fast food, wanted something different that he and i could sit down and enjoy for a change... oh, and I desperately needed a cup of coffee... so we walk into the restaurant and since they re bust we waited by the door for a couple minutes before choosing to sit at the extra chair by the window to wait for a table - or even a seat at the bar. We were never greeted, tho i know the one server looked directly at me at least 3x. After about 5 min or so, another couple came in, was greeted on the spot, and had 2 places st the bar cleared almost instantly. Needless to say, my son and I went across the street to the Dairy Queen.
We love to go to Waffle House in Metter after church on Sunday nights. Our service is always great. We have the Senior Waffle ( Blueberry) and a side. It is a great place to eat!
The food is great as usual. The atmosphere was horrible. Some female employee kept dictating to others what they needed to do or not do, loudly! The energy in the other employess seemed pretty low because of her.
This was by far the nasties waffle house I have ate at. Our waitresses was so nice it was her first day. We made her first of work joyable. Be careful if you stop and eat here
The place was very dirty. Waffle mix was everywhere. Grill looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Windows were very dirty. Was not busy and several tables not cleaned.
Jen and Reed are the best! After a trying time at a hotel with no coffee and no coffee makers in the room, I discovered the WH on my last day here.
Though Google says they are closed at night, they ARE open 24/7.
Management should commend these folks. Their good food, fast service, great coffee and friendly conversation are what I needed. It was almost like being home.
Well done Waffle House. Well done indeed!
