Haven't ate Waffle House in a long time. Decided to give them a try. Big mistake, burnt bacon on steak melt that it was black along with my steak. Wasn't just mine but my daughter's as well. They cook was more concerned in goofing off then doing his job. It cost too much to eat for the food to be burnt. The waitress took $2 off. But even she didn't come back to the table to see if we needed drink refills. Don't worry we won't be back.
Our server was so cheerful and upbeat, she instantly raised our spirits and made us forget our short wait. Even my teenage grandsons noticed.
Food was good, came out quickly and was done perfectly.
I should also mentioned the young man serving as greeter. He assured us a table would be opening soon and it really did!
Walked in there was not a single clean place to sit down there were 3 women when we go here they saw us walk in and yet no one offered or attempted to clean a spot finally my mother had to walk up to the counter and ask for someone to clean a table then there ended up being 5 women and still no tables were bused or cleaned
We absolutely love this location. Misty is the best! We have a large family and she always takes care of us and we get in and out quickly.
They had messed up our to go order. Ordered a chocolate chip waffle, and I sent my boyfriend to go and see if they would fix it. The dude working grabbed the waffle and threw chocolate chips on it and was very rude and said you can take it home and microwave it I’m not remaking it..I understand that they don’t bake the chocolate chips into them anymore, but there’s no reason to be so rude. My boyfriend had just found out about his grandfather passing 30 minutes prior and definitely didn’t need someone being an a hole to him. Don’t work customer service if you’re not gonna be polite and respectful. There was so many other ways for this man to go about the situation. I hope he gets fired. ( on a side note there is many wonderful ladies who work there and are very sweet, they just happened to hire a terrible person)
Didn't eat cause it was a disaster all tables were extra dirty. THE WORST thing happened in the parking lot. As I walked out to my car (parked in first spot in front of building) fell in the rain and was injured on my head bleeding and bruised. Not one person inside came out to check on me. Drove myself to hospital. This was on Christmas Day. At least some one could have asked if I was okay. Considering that employee out numbered the customers.
I go 2 Waffle Houses away, way out of my way, simply because of Donna. She's a blessing and a light. She's rare and WF is lucky to have her.
This is a great chain restaurant. I am a big fan of their breakfast...it's always good. Ask for onions with your hash browns, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the added flavor.
