Their meat and potato pies are well worth the journey! Perfectly seasoned. My Grandma would travel up from Walkden back in the day to buy them. (Forty years plus ago). Got a taste for them then and they’ve been consistently excellent ever since. Luckily for me they stock them more locally to where I am - they’re immense.
My mum loves their meat and potato pies and recently tried the meat and onion which she rated very highly saying it was moist and tasty. A good variety of cakes to choose and we tend to try different kinds each time we visit.
Normally a great place to buy but no large sandwich cakes making it expensive to buy small cakes. The server who seemed new did her utmost to assist me, the other servant wasn't helpful and seemed stressed. On cutting into the loaf I bought it did not seem fresh. Good job I like toast.
All pies, Cakes and Bread plus much more are all made fresh daily on the premises,
We never sell pies from the day before as we like to maintain high standards.
Pies are always hot and fresh, they also offer a wide range of sandwiches and salads
One of the best pies I've had my only grump is that I live 16 miles away now and don't drive... guys you won't find a better meat and potato pie in bolton ???? should do delivery ????
Everything they sell here is brilliant and tasty. Pastys, pies, cakes.. its One of the best in north west!!!!! Try and you will see for yourself.
Lovely food and wonderful staff always friendly and helpful. Food is always very nicely baked and tasty.
