Vittle serves up some delicious and unique bakes. They have amazing donuts and cookies that are unlike anything else you'll find on the North Coast but their Cinnamon Brioche sets them apart even more.
My wife was in this morning after missing the Brioche on the last few visits they had them in, but they were weren't finished. They offered to finish them off if she was willing to wait, excellent service.
It's a promising small shop. They have out of the ordinary choices, and their hot chocolate is amazing! I was craving for the donuts from their instagram page, but not available when we got there. Portuguese tarts were delicious, cookies were freshly baked, crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside just the way we like it, and the lemon meringue cruffin was 10 out of 10! I hope this bakeshop grows in the near future so they can have more pastries and donuts available all day. Drove all the way from Derry for this little treat. Definitely worth a stopover. ????☕️????????????
Spectacular. Better pastry’s than Paris. I had a sausage roll to die for. Caramelisation throughout with layer upon delicate layer of pastry. The Cronut and raspberry and custards Danish was unreal. Layers of golden brown pastry around a lovely bubble of filling. Excellent coffee as well. If I’m in Portstewart I will be here.
I haven’t been to Vittle cafe but have had bakes on two occasions from their stall in Banana Block at East Block Bazaar. I can honestly say they are the best baked goods I’ve ever had, and I’m a bit of a bakery connoisseur! Can’t wait to get to the cafe soon to try some of their coffee too. Amazing!
The coffee and bakes from this place are consistently class. I saw a couple of one star reviews for the most ridiculous of things. People really are moaning gits.
If you want baked goods that are on another level and lovely coffee then hit this place up as you will definitely not be disappointed
Delicious treats, very friendly staff. Either sit in or take your treat away and grab a bench along the seafront to take in the spectacular view. Vittle is also dog friendly. Great to see new local businesses allowing dogs. My friends and I will definitely be back. Thank you.
The woman we served us was so lovely. Made ordering so easy and she was so helpful. Food was delish. 10/10
After having the most wonderful cake I’ve ever had and a lovely cup of decaf coffee for not much more than £7 sit in, I had to go back the next day and try another of the delicious home-baked cakes. This establishment also allows dogs, indeed I think they encourage dogs with their canine treats on offer. They are welcoming and friendly, oh and did I mention how good the baked goods are? I will support this local business at every opportunity when visiting or passing through Portstewart. I wish I lived nearer. 10/10.
