Amanda is absolutely amazing! She is so patient and so professional. She made sure my hair came out exactly as I wanted and took extra care to make sure it wasn’t damaged after the bleaching process. Her personality is phenomenal which is extremely important to me as well. 10/10 would recommend!!
I'm very thankful to have found Amanda! I have curly hair and needed a trim along with some help on maintaining it after wanting to go back natural. Most salons in town don't like to defuse and prefer to blow out and straighten but Amanda's was the first where I left with curls! My hair feels and looks great and I've gotten great advice from her without breaking the bank. Her client before me got color done to her hair and it was vibrant and beautiful! I highly suggest this spot to anyone!

After years of coloring my fine & straight hair I was ready to grow out to my natural color which surprisingly included gorgeous silver & gray framing my face. I was referred to Amanda by my previous stylist because I also decided to perm my “new” hair so I could have wash & wear hair without it looking like an eighties poodle style. Amanda more than delivered on my expectations!! She gave me exactly what I wanted and I regularly receive compliments on my new look, even my son said it totally suits me & my personality. Amanda is incredibly talented and has a genuine passion for hair. She understands & easily explains the science behind processing treatments, whether color or perm as well as the importance of using the correct products for your hair structure and services. As long as Amanda is somewhere in the Colorado Springs area I will continue to only go to her. I have followed her as she’s moved salons and her new location on the east side of downtown is AMAZING!! The location is convenient and the salon is immaculate, welcoming & comfortable. If you haven’t already, I hope you give Amanda an opportunity to work her magic with you!!
Probably the BEST hair experience I've ever had! Amanda was very informative, professional, kind and really easy to talk to. I contacted her to schedule an appointment for a haircut and she messaged me within 24 hours--right away I could feel her kindness and professionalism. Upon arrival, she did not keep me waiting. I noticed right away that she maintained a social distance, wore a mask and was insistent on using hand sanitizer (when necessary) both for myself and herself. Right away, she struck up a conversation, that lasted the whole time. She really connects with you on a personal level and tries to get to know you as a person, so that she can better serve your beauty needs! She listened to exactly what I wanted for a haircut and was patient. She also made sure that I knew what she was doing every step of the way, and was very gentle--she definitely had my comfort in mind! My haircut turned out exactly how I envisioned it in my head--it's like she read my mind ???? Her prices are also extremely affordable ($40 for shampoo/haircut/style) and she recommended products that work perfect for me and won't break the bank. Overall, Amanda is very gentle, kind, professional, clean & has you as a person in mind as her top priority! I HIGHLY recommend that you go and see her for all of your hair needs ????
UPDATE: I went back a few months later to get a perm and haircut ($150.00 + $25.00) and I LOVE my new hair. It feels so light, soft and voluminous ????
I have naturally curly hair and never know who to trust to give me the right cut. After one appointment with Amanda, I feel confident that she knows curly hair (and I’m sure all hair) inside and out. She took her time on my cut, was careful to check her work as she went, and gave great suggestions about hair care. She offered my cut + wash (and even a hand massage) at very reasonable price! I’m impressed.
If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable and will also make you feel completely valued as a client, Amanda is your woman.
Amanda is truly amazing at what she does. I love my new cut she gave me. I have naturally curly hair and it’s hard to find someone to trust that will give you the cut your looking for with your type of curls. I went in with an idea and let her be creative. It’s nice to be able to sit in the chair and trust the person doing your hair. I would definitely recommend her for your next cut!
Amanda loves my hair as much as I do and sometimes more than me. Not only does she take good care of my hair but also of me and my preferences/style. When we talk about what to do, she's good about explaining how certain things will look and gets really excited about trying new styles when I inquire about them. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair since I started going to her and she has truly done a much more thorough and loving job of making me feel confident and my hair look amazing then any other stylist I've been to. 10/10, 5 stars, she's amazing.
Miss Amanda Humber is the lovely lady that trimmed my hair for me. I went into the salon a couple weeks ago looking for someone that had an opening for a quick trim. Unfortunately they had no openings that day but fortunately I got to meet Amanda and feel her amazing spirit and personality. I'm an impatient individual when it comes to things I want but her vibes were amazing so I called her and made an appointment to have my hair trimmed by her specifically. Well today was the day finally and I have absolutely no regrets in my decision to wait for her to cut my hair. She did an amazing job trimming my hair and I adore her exuberant personality. She is extremely personable and makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable. So thanks Amanda I will 100% be a returning client for your beautiful self! ????
