Erica was so helpful in helping me pick out the perfect pair of glasses and sunglasses. She was so sweet and very kind. Went here in early 2023 for my annual eye exam (previously went to Brick location in 2022 and had a great experience and didn’t pay much out of pocket about $70 for my contacts, eye exam and everything else. Lady at front told me I had great insurance so I figured I would be paying the same amount just for my contacts I didn’t need glasses.) However, Howell was the only location available for an appointment so I took the drive and figured the cost would be the same as the Brick location. I told the lady at the front I didn’t need glasses just contacts. My insurance did not change that I know of her I was charged $296 for my contacts and appointment along with any other charges. I didn’t think anything of it other then maybe my insurance changed?? I tried to fight it over the phone with them but they persisted to tell me that that’s what my insurance covered and that was it. Long story short, I recently went to the Toms River location (great staff and very helpful), the guy at the front said I have great insurance asked me if I only wanted contacts and no glasses and I said yes that’s correct. Total amount was around the same I paid at the Brick location $80. I called this location in Howell right after my appointment because I was very frustrated that I was overcharged by the lady at the front desk for my contacts. The guy over the phone gave me a claim number and said they would review it but he did agree I was overcharged. I still have yet to hear anything to this day, so I decided to call and speak to a supervisor today who was very nice and helpful, however, she told me that I didn’t use both my insurance plans at my appointment in Howell (one is for glasses and one is for contacts), yet I told the lady at the front desk I only wanted contacts and not glasses so I’m not sure why she only used my one insurance plan to cover the cost. I am hoping to have this issue resolved and refunded the money I am owed because it isn’t my fault the people at this location at the front desk can’t do their job correctly and overcharge people. Even if this gets fixed, I will not be back at this location where they are overcharging people. I had no issues at Toms River or Brick and everyone explains everything properly. I work extremely hard for my money and I feel as if this place just wants to take your money from you. Won’t be back and I am expecting back what I am owed.
Awesome experience! Very knowledgeable staff, attentive, kind, helpful as to what frame I should get, took there time with me, helped with my insurance. And, I just picked them up and I love them. Will definitely be going back. I paid half the price I was paying elsewhere. ???? Highly recommend!!!????
Everything was professional! I'm disabled and the Dr saw me walking in and assisted me with opening the door and quickly offered me a chair. He took a great deal of time in order to help me getting my broken eyewear replaced. He made things easy and comfortable I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses! Thank you for taking care of me, it's greatly appreciated knowing there's still people out there that can make what's to someone like me, an otherwise daunting task - Kudos
Erica was absolutely amazing. When I tell you this woman has a heart of gold, she really does. She greeted me with a smile even though I came a few minutes before closing and she was the only one there (although she was wearing a mask you can tell that she was smiling from her voice and eyes). I can barely see without my glasses, when the screw came off i rushed to Visionworks because i know it’s only the place that can help me. She finished with the customer and took my glasses and fixed them without frowning or being upset. She genuinely has a kind heart and i hope the best for her. Honestly i think this is the best location because of the service and kindness in all the employees, especially Erica. I’ve always bought from this location and they always made sure i was happy with my glasses. Thank you so much for the service you guys do for us blind people????, And. special Thanks to Erica for taking me in be for the close.
I have been going to Visionworks for 7 years and I never had a problem with the staff or the product. All workers are very nice and helpful. When I tell them what I wanted, they made sure to get me what I asked for. I am very happy with the company, staff and selection of items and my final product. I recommend them 100%. Thank you...
The associate who helped me (Sabrina) was very kind and patient. She addressed every concern I had regarding my glasses and insurance. I love the variety of choices of glasses. Also I was happy to be able to find a nice pair of glasses within my budget!
