Had a lovely tasting at wine shop. Service staff was extremely knowledgable and was super helpful and friendly.
The wines didn’t match our tastes and also pricing was extremely high for what they were :-)
Gteat selection of local and regional wines at reasonable prices slong with encyclopedic knowledge.
We opted to book an Interesting and informative Chablis tasting/master class covering 5 different wines from local producers. (We ended up trying 7 and a Single Malt).
The Owner/presenter speaks excellent English and is happy to answer any and all questions with intelligence and good humour.
Importantly, despite our lack of knowledge about the region, we were never admonished or belittled, but guided and informed in a gentle and respectful manner at all times. Well worth the cost.
Only minor downside, it was a little warm in the tasting room, but Air Con is rare in France so to be expected.
