Used to be my favorite place around. The service dining in is always excellent. The last few times we have ordered takeout our experiences have been interesting! From misplaced tickets to burnt or undercooked pizza. We were told nothing was wrong with this pizza! Such a soggy disgusting mess, not to mention-it had a total of 5 pepperonis on it. Unfortunately, they have lost our business.
Pizzas here used to be the best around, they are still pretty good but nothing like they were years ago. Very thing and always soggy and impossible to hold and eat. The meatball sub I got today was by far the worst sub I ever had. The meatballs were dry as dirt and hardly any sauce. Quality has seriously gone downhill here, waitstaff is always good and I feel bad for them because if the quality is bad their tips will reflect it even though it shouldn't.
We ordered take out personal pizzas and breaded mushrooms to eat while we waited. The mushrooms were prepared perfectly. We really enjoyed them. When we got back to the inn we ate the pizzas. Fantastic. We ordered extra cheese and unlike many other pizzerias you could actually see the cheese We couldn’t have been more satisfied.
This is a great Italian restaurant in Ruckersvilles. There is great decor with New York City poster art and awnings covering the tables. The meatzza pizza was delicious. The rigatoni Bolognese was a giant portion that we had to take to go. Will be back and definitely recommend.

Great place to stop on a rainy Sunday driving home from Charlottesville. Good pizza, pleasant waitress. Place looks unremarkable, but not the sort of place where you expect "atmosphere".
Called in an order about 3 weeks ago, picked it up drove 30 minutes home, the order was all wrong. I ordered extra sauce on spaghetti no cheese. There was not a space without cheese. I called back and they said they were sorry and they will credit me one the next time.
So today I went in to get another spaghetti with extra sauce, no cheese and a pizza. Just got home to a spaghetti with no sauce and only cheese covered. I called back, the girl who picked up said it's not on us in the front, that's the ones cooking in the back.
While waiting for the order they were throwing stuff at each other and cursing. Not very professional!
I will say the only one who stayed busy was the guy making the pizzas, to him only, job well done.

Not the best..in fact not good, the lady behind the counter was rude and couldn't understand my 2 slice order. I am from Brooklyn and this is not ny style pizza this wasn't even close to sbarro. the cheese was processed at best, sauce had no flavor and probably straight out of a can, the dough was undercooked on the bottom. ill pick up a digiorno at walmart next time
