First time visiting after hearing so many good things about this place... It's was decent and I'd go back if I was in the area.
The super hot wings were exactly that, definitely watch out. The fish and chips were also good but not as flavorful as I'm used to. The kids pizza was pretty good, basic but above average for a kids pizza and I'm glad they had a low carb friendly option.
Our water was very good, friendly and attentive. Made the experience better.
Good wings, margarita in happy hour was large and had good alcohol. Happy hour had good choice. Probably would not come when it's not happy hour.
Great centralized bar with quieter seating area off to the side, there are TVs mounted all over the walls and set to different sports games, the sound quality was pretty good for the main game they had on the speakers, the noise level was excellent for a bar/restaurant. I could actually have a conversation with someone without having to yell.
They had GREAT food. Granted, I only ordered a basket of fries, but the French Dip sandwich my friend ordered looked amazing and he devoured it in record time.
I actually really liked my basket of fries, it was a great value for the amount of great tasting fries that you receive (like $7.25~). They had lots of menu options, and drink options.
The building itself has a very old feeling to it, the entrance was not inviting, felt more sketchy than anything else, the interior feels a bit worn and things seem to be rundown in spots. However, they had great service, good food, good comfort, good noise level (at least during the day time - 2pm on a Sunday).
I would come back.
Wings were small but delicious. Wife liked them small. I was a little disappointed. I'm not expecting humongous hormone filled chickens but I'm not expecting squab size either. The sauces made up for it. They were awesome. The taco salad was okay. A little bland for my taste but this isn't a Mexican restaurant either. Will go back.
Been coming here for 23+ years. Stopped by for a drink and the vibe of the whole restaurant was wack. The bartender was so rude. He seemed irritated from the very beginning. Terrible customer service. No wonder there were only 15 people there on a weekend night.
We went here for St. Patrick's Day. Corned beef and cabbage were great. Boneless wings were also pretty good. They have good deals for happy hour. Other items can be pricey. The staff were friendly. Good place for bar food, Irish American food, and cold beers.
Man. Saddens me even writing this.. So excited to come try this location only to be let down by the smallest wings I've ever received.... for 15.99.. a dozen.. mind you if you split flavors they charge for that... drums smaller than a pinkie wings smaller than that.. being charged full price? If it's a supply chain issue at least offer a discount....
Burger I ordered had absolutely no flavor to it. Well cooked just no flavor.. man this really bumms me out.
Waitress was also sub par.. just because I didn't get a soda doesn't mean I don't want a refill of water... a dozen wings and a burger with no refill. Horrible..
I'll check in the future hopefully you'll get bigger wings
The waitress Christine was super nice and checked on us frequently but after our food arrived, I remembered why I have only been here one time a decade ago and said I wouldn't be back.
Check out this chicken wing! In the entire dozen, each one was roughly the size of my thumb. I'd say 3 of them equal one normal wing at any bar. The entire dozen couldn't have weighed more than 7 ounces.
Unreal. Big rip off.
The spinach dip tasted like something you would buy out of the freezer section at Frys and microwave at home.
My friend and I shared a dozen wings, the potato skins, the artichoke dip and each had a big beer and our total was like $70 bucks.
Come for the drinks, skip the food or maybe just try any other bar in Tempe. Philly's, Doc n Eddies, Bogeys are all within a mile and a way better option for food.
