Best KPortal Reviews
First time at Vince’s, very good service and atmosphere, clean and friendly place. Tried three different pies. One cheese, one pepperoni, and one with sausage, pepper and mushroom. Mixed feelings about the pizza. IMO they stretched out the dough a bit too much. It was way too floppy. Very good about the pizza were the flavors. Great taste to the sauce. Finally, sorry but canned mushrooms have to go. In my world it’s fresh ingredients all the time.
You know the place is good when they are cash only, pickup only, and offer the bare necessities (a couple pies and soda) without frills. Vince's has a cult following of Northeasters from the Grant Ave area and anyone from Feltonville that remembers Charlie's. The crust is particularly crispy and the sauce very flavorful. A little bit expensive. A tad inconvenient. But it's the best no frills pie around
Vince’s is one of the high numbers of my Top five best pizzas in Northeast Philadelphia. The pizza is unique and different then many of the other pizza restaurants around. The Cheese, Dough, and Sauce all complement each other perfectly. The staff is so busy all the time. They are not rude and take care of you well but they have to keep up with the busy non stop pace. I highly recommend giving Vince’s a try.
I can't believe the reviews that said this place was the best. No flavor pizza is what I say. I had anchovies on half and I couldn't find any but two! I had to add spices from the table to give the pizza any kind of flavor. There are too many other pizza places that are much better than this one. Maybe those "Best" reviews were family members.
The best pizza I have ever had. We drive over an hour each way to get "Vinnies" pizza once a month.
Finally decided to try this place after how many years it's been there. I honestly don't get the hype. Ordered a plain cheese pizza. Sauce is good but where's the cheese? Like what? Thin burnt crust is not my thing either. Way better places to go all around even in the same neighborhood. Will not be ordering again.
We tried Vince's Pizza after seeing the review on "One Bite". The place was packed (which is a good thing) when we arrived around 6pm on a Saturday evening. I asked for our pizzas to be cooked crispy and thin, which they were!. The sauce was not sweet (which I tend to enjoy more), but it had a bold, fresh tomato taste to it! The cheese was a bit heavier on some of the slices than others. I prefer lesser amounts of cheese, but it wasn't too overwhelming as a whole. I definitely think Vince's has a good pizza going and would absolutely recommend the place to anyone else who knows what a good pizza is!
best pizza in the great northeast! even better eating in but the pizza with steak on half is beyond amazing,!
