Vin Hoa is definitely a hidden gem in the Midwest. I would recommend this place for those seeking well-seasoned rice dishes and excellent chicken (you only get 3 per order), with the only minor drawback being the crab Rangoon's potential for improvement. They haven’t had dine-in since the pandemic…and always have plenty of parking.
Awesome food. I've never had a bad meal here ever. Crab ???? Rangoon is the best ever.
My go to Chinese place. The only place I can find Moo Goo Gai Pan the way they make it. I love their ham fried rice and crab Rangoon too. Just remember it's a cash only establishment. Not the fanciest of places, but excellent food.
I've been to lots of Chinese restaurants all over the country!!! This one's was the worst Ive ever experienced. They where rude from the get go. They had tables but all the chairs where on them at dinner time? The lady taking the oder was rude as well. Then to top it of I order the Kung poa chicken. It was nasty!
It wasn't Kung pow at all. It was like eating canned vegetable soup!!! carrots, pees, and green bean's, lima bean's in it and the chicken was freezer burnt or something it didn't taste right at all!
Ordered last night. The food was very flavorful however they are very skimpy on the beef. We will continue to order from there but may avoid the beef dishes. Our Mongolian Beef was mostly onions, but the flavor was oh so yummy.
This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The chicken wings are soooooo good, and you can't find them anywhere else. I ordered the shrimp with vegetables and shrimp and noodles for my daughter. She said they changed the noodles in the dish to a thinner noodle and it didn't taste the same, wasn't as good. My shrimp with vegetables was good, and the chicken wings were great as usual.
Used to love to dine in, but that is no longer an option. Still my favorite since high school, love the Crab Rangoon, it's not sweet.
Love Vin Hoa. I live 150 miles away, but I stop by when I am in Granite City. The fried rice and wontons are consistently excellent and always freshly prepared and hot. I get 2 meals out of one whole order, so it is a good value. Take out and cash only, which is fine with me.
