We ordered 1 hamburger and 1 cheeseburger with no sides and only water to drink and it cost almost $17. We could not believe this place had 4.5 stars. The men's restroom was not operational, the women's restroom was extremely dark and hard to find plus there was a large rock in the middle of the floor possibly used for a door stop which almost caused me to trip. The back room was extremely messy. The phone rang non stop and no one answered it. It was very annoying. The menu showed no prices as someone used white out on each price of every food item on menu.. The wait was extremely long just to get water but especially to put our order in. The burgers were not really bad but she had no pickles and she overcooked the buns. She looked to be the only person there and talked in Spanish most of the time. First she said our amount was almost $20 for only 2 hamburgers and no extras then she changed it to the lower price just under $17 but still WAY TOO EXPENSIVE considering the wait, the small amount of food we received and the cleanliness of the restaurant which was not good. I gave 1 star as the burgers were edible but not the best. Also several tableshad stacked up dirty dishes the entire time we were there which was over an hour because of the long eait. We will never set foot in there again.
Authentic and not out of a can. Really good and tasty (try the chuletas). The place doesn't look like much outside but the food is really good.
The company I work for sent me to the Deerfield area on a job, several years ago. I finished up around 1:00 pm and was starving. The customer I was doing the work for suggested this restaurant, so I thought I would give it a try. It didn't look like much, so I had some reservations when I drove up to the restaurant. I ordered the enchilada plate thinking that should to be a dish they couldn't mess up. To my surprise, those were the best enchiladas I have ever had. I haven't been back in that part of the country since, but I will definitely eat there again if I'm ever even halfway close to Deerfield. They set the standard to how I judge Mexican restaurants now, and no one has came close to knocking them off the top.
It was a wonderful breakfast ???? had a great time
Good authentic Mexican cuisine. The street tacos and gortittas were amazing. Soda comes in a can not from a machine so is more expensive as they charge per can no refills even tho it says free refill
Small, quiet place. Had the beef enchiladas with rice and beans! It was good! Not sure what exactly all the had on menu, not real familiar personally with Spanish dishes.
The plate of pork with red sauce is worth the stop.
Unassuming little dinner with big flavors and authentic Mexican and Mexican American fare. Beef fajitas were fresh with handmade flour tortillas.
