3 star for food because I asked for a regular cheeseburger, NO bacon. I picked off at least 7 pieces of bacon from the bottom of my burger. Not sure why it was under the patty, let alone on the burger at all. I dislike bacon and I asked very nicely for no bacon.
Took a Strawberry Rhubarb pie home, it is the BEST Strawberry Rhubarb pie I have ever had, making it the best $22 pie and worth it. I will come back for this pie, but I will not eat in again because of the bacon.
Most of the time whatever I order is usually good but I ordered just a side of Bees n Gees this morning and the gravy was not so amazing like everything else is and biscuit was really sweet. Not usually what you want your Gees n Bees to taste like. Plus was a very small portion for the price point. That being said, the rest of my party loved their meals! Plus our very, very courteous waitress was sooo awesome!! Made up for the meal for sure. Strongly recommend the Village to anyone!
Had a great lunch, great service and great conversation with folks I just met. One of the things I love about my job is I get to meet all kinds of people from all different backgrounds and beliefs and you only get to meet them if you talk to them, which I do! Awesome place I would recommend if your in the area
Great food and a really homey vibe. The server was very attentive and gave great recommendations. We had the stuffed chicken and it was delicious. Even the salad was remarkable, they put dill in the ranch dressing and it is delightful. The table next to ours had an issue with their food, the staff made it right and gave them a piece of free pie. Nice to see folks taking customer service so seriously. That alone got me as a lifelong customer, and it wasn't even my order! Great beer selection, plenty of seating. Thursday is karaoke night so it was good to feel like normal times again. Will definitely be going back, what a lovely spot.
Came in on Monday with some family visiting from out of state. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Our server was working hard around the dining room throughout our entire visit,and really went above and beyond to make it a great first experience! The calamari was delicious,and so was their chocolate cream pie ????. Will definitely be returning to this awesome family friendly spot!
Excellent breakfast. Perfect bacon, eggs and everything to round it all off.
Very cozy setting. We were seated right by a great fireplace.
Service was super, right there with coffee refills, and very attentive without being overly so.
I felt like I was in a fancy ski chalet.
Went for a late lunch. It was pretty busy but we only had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. We shared the pot stickers and pretzels with jalapeño cheese. I forgot to get a pic of the pretzels and cheese sauce. The food was really good and the service was excellent.
Only rated 4 for food and service because the upgrade to sweet potato fries for $3 with my wrap, there were about 6 fries. The chef should have done a full order since it was an upcharge, and the server shouldn't have brought out the partial...team effort. Maple bacon wings were too much maple syrup but tasty.
I will return.
